Oscar probably playing for Roxby United as he working up north at the mines atm...
I got him out for a session at Vipers last year and if he was to play it would be in 2 match blocks as he was
2 weeks north, then 2 weeks home. Last years coach seemed to be the reason why he declined.
He still got that silky touch and he def be late 40's now.
These days he kicks back with his argelle smoking that funny Lebo stuff
In 1854 Thomas Aitken had a hard earned thirst.

as for the oldest player in our first team that would be jamie powells (34) or matt couper (35) at the club there are older but thats why there is a over 35's but pretty sure this topic was about the first team!

berts 41 or 42 this year and is one of the fittest blokes i know.
i take my hat off to him and i do hope that when he retires (if captain invincible retires) that he will stay on and coach at the mighty downs.
He's actually 43. That makes him older than me.

You don't need to be a student to play in a uni side, and what's wrong with mature age students anyway?

Because you always win games based on age, thought ability was what would count?

Modbury Jets SC have a 64 yr old full back in their first team, I know this because he tackled me, then nutmegged me then laughed as he ran off with the ball!
And that was all in the space of 10 seconds

I meant looking good as in the future of the club is looking good with so many young players....If you are telling me Africa players dont have the ability u must be joking
Maybe is cos we have too much individual ability we cant really play as a team on so many ocasions
