Girls School Soccer
Girls Soccer seems like it is still becoming more and more popular at schools these days, with many schools entering girls teams into local competitions.
As it does, the number of girls interested in playing at club level after starting with school soccer seems to be growing too (as does the quality).
One Example is St Johns Grammar (Belair).
I think the girls there should be congratulated on what they have achieved this year.
They have a total of 5 girls teams, 3 of who have done really well.
Year 6/7 Girls - Won the league, night carnival and knock-out cup. They played a total of 20 games, and won all 20.
Year 9 (A Grd) - Won their 'Grand Final'
Year 9 (B Grd) - Team made up of year 8s (+ one yr7), also won their 'Grand Final'.
Anyone got news of any other successes for girls soccer in schools? Things like this can only be good for the future of womens soccer.

Immanuel College also had a very good year in School Soccer, and as you said pvfc, girls school soccer is becoming extremely popular and immanuel will be fielding 6 teams next season for the first time ever and entering into the knockout comp next year too.
This Immanuel teams faired:
Open A's finished 3rd
Open B's finished 1st - undefeated
Mid A Girls - Finished 1st
Mid B Girls - Finished 1st
Mid C Girls - Finished 4th
Considering at the moment the school only has three club players, it was an extremely good achievement, a lot of players will be looking to join clubs this coming season.
