Re: africa new kits
As far as I know the league only gives money as a once off thing.. Usually before the club even gets to play a league game..That was the case for us...p@ul12 wrote:was not trying to be funny was just asking the question. did the league pay for them or yourselves??????
We actually paid for the uniforms ourselves ...each individual paying for his own uniform...
The rule was u want to play u have to buy your uniform ....worked really well...

making everyone pay for their shirt is a good idea. i guess they get to keep it at the end of the year.

Re: africa new kits
Just think if I had gone there I'd be tossing up whether to put Bodø on the back or my surname. Either way I'm sure it would have been spelt wrong
Re: africa new kits
I think the uniforms in your photo are much better!

Not an original idea. Several clubs have done this in the past including Iggies.p@ul12 wrote:well done then!!

Re: africa new kits
Wanderers did last season. Do they have to buy a reserve kit as well just in case there's a color clash?
Re: africa new kits
i haven't seen any other team in orange so shouldn't be any problems with colour clashesFunky Punk wrote:Wanderers did last season. Do they have to buy a reserve kit as well just in case there's a color clash?

As for pink and winning ... Palermo aren't exaclty collecting silverware on a regular basis.
p.s. since you brought it up, who is your favorite desperate housewife?

Re: africa new kits
what happens if players dont show up on the weekend or the next year ? did you buy extras ?our club have thought about this idea but what do you do about the above problems? should probably start a new topic for this but what do your clubs dop@ul12 wrote:well done then!!

Re: africa new kits
This happened at Iggies. Players would leave so in someone's infinite wisdom (note mine!), some of their numbers were re-used and this was fine UNTIL the original players decided to come back! All this would seem easy to manage in theory but it became a nightmare, which was why the idea was dropped when new strips were purchased. The next geneartion may have different ideas... Re: africa new kits
With numbers being all over the place these days you could issue players with a new number. I remember watching a Sorrento Sands masters match. they all had numbers in the 50's and 60's.Rob Lozza wrote:I'm sure you guys are also laughing at the trophies we won and the ones you haven't.Kitchimo wrote:The new generation merely laughs at that era.
