oh so you'd rather spend weeks debating and trying to come to a unanimous decision?
thats brilliant.
why dont we just stop the girls playing all together...
the decisions been made.
stop complaining.
give a team a break!

but its not my league.
and i've had my whinge about the change to the prems thing this year, so i wouldnt dream of trying to say otherwise.

i've said it sucks. im on your side. there probably was a better solution.
but they went for a quick solution, by consulting the clubs and going for majority rules.
and better a quick solution then seeing girls lose interest for getting done 27 nil week in and week out.

Still haven't seen any U17 results or updated table from last weekend on the FFSA website- the first post split round. Does anyone know what's going on? FFSA just a bit slow or don't know how to implement their decision to split the comp half way through? As a parent whose had planned holidays stuffed around by this, i'm beginning to get just more than a little irritated by the evident lack of professionalism around this being shown by the FFSA and beginning to think my daughter (a state level player) would be better off in another sport.

it's all well and good to say that FFSA are being slow and unprofessional and stuff, i won't disagree with you there
but saying your daughter might be better off in another sport because of it is bull if you ask me. as far as i'm concerned, no matter the politics, if your kids like the sport they're in then that's just something you'll have to put up with, because frankly every sport has it's politics. people are 'better off' in sports they like, or love, not whether it's run well or not.

Can't argue with any of that. Kids want to play and are less likely to care for politics.

This is true ,but a number of players are starting to get rather annoyed at the way this is being handled.........
They might be making the decision to leave the game on their own...
FFsa need to show some proffesionalism, get their shite together and get new fixtures, tables and scores out for all to see :x :x :x :x

I don't see how draft (?) fixtures being circulated to clubs Monday relates to the main point. I understood that the first round of the new fixtures was played last Sunday and we've been told who we're playing this Sunday. But the results from last weeks games haven't been posted, nor any tables updated. So what the .... is going on?

what is the main point? that the website hasnt been updated?
i didnt realise that was a huge problem.
im sure the ffsa just have more pressing issues to deal with. if the first game was played on sunday, its been a whole... omg 3 days.
at least you've been told who you're playing this weekend.
the table will come soon enough.
we've established they're not the most organised bunch, but its not like its been weeks since they've updated.
i think you maybe just need to calm down.
give a team a break!

We understand the ffsa is still organizing fixtures and/or updating table web pages ,but what is stopping them from
posting the weekend scores just like every other round...
I'm fairly certain clubs can work out the tables for themselves if they are provided with this info....

And lets face it people, we all like to know whats been happening in all our relevant leagues..There's no reason to expect
the 17's to be any different
no idea

A couple of things you all need to realise
1-there is no official results until the FFSA receive match sheets from refs ( and we all no how
well they have been travelling of late ) so there could be delays there.
2-Tracey the new women in charge of women's comp. now, only works in that role 3 days a
week which by the way shows how serious the FFSA take womens football, should be a full
time role.
So with all the changes happening to the U17s comp. give them a chance I am sure things will improve.

i'm not arguing with that. if the kids wanna leave on their own then yeah, it's their choice. i'm just saying, parent's shouldn't pull their kids out just because of the politics.
FFSA do need to get it together though to stop those players from wanting to leave because of it.

Still wondering when they are going to update the u17 girls table, results, fixtures to recognise the 2 divisions, has been a couple of weeks since split.

Can the FFSA at least show the girls some respect after changing everything mid season and update the website, which these days is the only source of results, etc. now that no scores make it into papers or radio.
