Re: ROUND 12
Someone on this forum earlier on was saying that Fulham and City were going down and were not far from folding!
Good prediction!
Nothin' personal but just very funny!

city made very good use of the chances they had and passed very well
Re: ROUND 12
Sturt had to play most of the second half with 10 players.
Lots of sturt players injured at the moment

A no context game IMO.
Now someone has to pick up the pieces, not easy after such a flogging.

Re: ROUND 12
sturt were missing jess halfpenny, swaf and macca - so no surprise we beat them by that scoreline. hard for blacky and shib to play by themselves. then mel went in goals.
also just touching on the quigs playing for fulham again - she has always played for fulham so it isnt as if we are bringing her in coz we couldnt score, she was just on national duties so was unable to commit due to being a full scholarship.
Even Mrs T would say that she was always part of the club this year just couldnt play the first half!!!

Re: ROUND 12
The ladder after 12 rounds:
Club Name - PREMIER P W D L GF GA GD Points
Adelaide City 12 10 2 0 43 7 36 32
MUWFC Magic 11 8 1 2 32 10 22 25
Adelaide Olympic 12 7 3 2 29 13 16 24
Sturt Marion 12 6 0 6 31 36 -5 18
Cumberland United 11 5 1 5 29 26 3 16
Fulham United 12 3 3 6 18 20 -2 12
Campbelltown City 12 2 0 10 19 51 -32 6
Para Hills 12 1 0 11 5 43 -38 3
Everything seems still open both at the top and bottom. Metro still have a game in hand. If anything is even more interesting now with Fulham back to full force!
Also Olympic after a great win yesterday are still in the loop should they beat Metro next Sunday...

Re: ROUND 12
i predict, fulham will go up over cumby and maybe over sturt.
other than that, there will be no change til end of season.

There's relegation isn't there?Hulk Hogan wrote:is there relegation this season, ? bottom 2 or 1
As far as I know, the bottom team should be relegated in Div1 and the Div1 winners promoted into the Prems. So far in Div1 everything is still possible, with three teams fighting it out to move to the Prems.
In the Prems, I agree that Fulham will move on, they're a quality team IMO.bennylava wrote:i predict, fulham will go up over cumby and maybe over sturt.

As for top and bottom everything still open. If Olympic beat Metro they can get back into the loop too.
Para Hills and C'town can fight until the last round, but when they play eachother again that will be maybe it...
Re: ROUND 12
There was a genuine smile on Max Primaro's face after the game last Sunday. Makes a difference with Quigs for sure, but to have 5 players on the bench would be a lift also, knowing he does not have to leave players with slight injuries on the park.
Yes Sturt were minus some players (welcome to the party), but the scoreline could have been greater. Sharon Black and Shibs did work their butts off to bring some competitevness to the game.
Fulham are out of reach as far as the championship goes, but will have a huge say in who does take it out.

I guess they can only beat everybody once...can't do much more than that, can they?beaches wrote: Fulham are out of reach as far as the championship goes, but will have a huge say in who does take it out.
And sure, R. Quigley is a national player...that makes a difference for sure! Now Fulham have two of them, one at both ends
Re: ROUND 12
Your on the ball there Easy Tiger. The 3 Teams still in the running for the Championship will be treating their clashes with Fulham as Grand Finals. Those teams will enhance their chances with a win over Fulham. Fulham will want to gain back their respect in full. So great games ahead.
With Fulham still to regain a couple of injured players, all the squad will be putting their best foot forward. So a big finish to the competition is on the horizon.
