[quote="supastar#8"]sick and tired of watching cheating CLUB LINESMAN like the one at WESTIES and INTER today, he should be ashamed of himself to ruin a good game.(heard he was the CLUB PRESIDENT) unlucky INTER out played them easily

[quote="on the side"]Was a disgrace, someone frm westies even came and took the flag off him and told him to sit down

Don't think the original linesman was a cheat! after goal was scored and subsequently denied i asked the linesman if he had flagged against the goalscorer to which he replied No. another player was close to the play but not interfering but still close enough for a CLUB linesman to raise his flag. the ref was made aware of this but chose not to ask who the linesman was flagging for. was not the reason why we dropped 2 points today.

THE GANNON CURSE... ENJOY

Gannon curse indeed.

A's Munno Para 3 - Modbury Vista 1

first half was a yawn nothing to talk about. second half and the game took off with a good volley from steve m to put para up 1-0 in first 5 mins. then a bad throw from the vista keeper and some sleepiness from the vista player led to nat walking the ball into the box for a top corner finish to make it 2. a defensive blunder led to a penalty which was convincingly finished 2-1. para defender who conceded the penalty then red carded for a challenge. struggle from para then lovely ball through and finish to make it 3-1 para. laughed hard at vista defender when scorer for para let him know about the 3rd goal.

CMON PARA!!!

A good even game at 0-0 up to half time.
Knights had a player dismissed but were able to take the lead 0-1 with 10 players .
Knights had a linesman and a second player dismissed and it became hard to play out the game.

Reserves - Adelaide Vikings ( 2 ) Southern Knights ( 2 )

must say GREAT effort by the keeper for knights in the b's

got to love those last minute penalty calls by the home ref to help equalise the game
Must add that for the top Div 2 Reserves side Vikings didn't look too impressive today.

Knew you'd come on here and have a whinge.

Why? Because the number 25 who has been complained about before on here, throws himself around all game and last 5 takes a dive and gets a penalty or because your number 4 hits a 15 year old and the referee books them both? Or when your referee pushes a player in the wall!!!!

Really glad we got a draw in the B's were getting used to home refs but really whats the point

Anyway good luck if you go up the 3 men and a dog watching will enjoy it!

well not much to say bout the fulham v gardens clash but an insipid effort by the gardens lads today, gardens dominated the first half but once again couldnt score, fulham scored 1 from a gardens mistake in the first half, 2nd half play was more even but once again fulham scored 2 on the break, one was from a defensive error, the gardens boys really need to have a good look at themselves after todays result and start to put some of there many oppurtunitinities in the net, really really poor and any chance of winning the league has now gone. Easy to complain from the sidelines but im sure the players would agree, very poor today and easily worst performance of the year. full credit to fulham, took their chances.

Well done to Munno Para today. Referee struggled to get real control of the match. Not a good day out for Vista really, never looked overly convincing or threatening. First half was very much bogged down in the midfield.
So Gannon didn't get his $60 for a win then

Just let him know the lads he LEFT got their NORMAL win bonus today
No he didn't... but he was a pain in the backside and did plenty of good things for Vista. Good pick up for the Vista boys and he WILL get plenty to $$$ for them before the end of the year.
Very handy pick up did well today wen running at players especially to win the pen, put some good balls into box too, in the end we fell short and a great turn around from the 6 - 1 hiding first game of season.

A's

Gardens 0 - Fulham 3

don't know why the shock Jets no. 7??

We have been playing some good soccer the last few weeks and were highly motivated to reverse the round 1 result where we let 2 goals slip late when we were 1 nil up -even with our top goal scorer out through suspension for this match.

Wanted to catch up with Nugget for a drink after the game but he did a bolt on his bike straight after the match.

B's

Gardens 2 - Fulham 0

C's

Gardens 3 - Fulham 0

Heard Pontians won 3-0 against Lion.
only shocked as it was there home game and trying to challenge for the league, use definitely deserved the win though!

i also heard the linseman claim it wasnt the scorer. and at the end of the day we had PLENTY of other chances to finish the game off, cant blame a linesman it can be a lot harder then it looks sometimes

was not the pres and was only replaced because the new linesman was playing over 35s and was getting changed when game was starting. and the pot calling the kettle black comes to mind as im sure all westie fans can remember inter linesmen at there ground over the years. and to say he ruined a good game?? like you said he was replaced early on and this was the worst game that the west have played for several years so a good game by your standard was far from that by ours :clown:
In my time at Anfield we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside - Liverpool and Liverpool reserves.

Ahhh i thought so. handy pick up. He was a little off the pace in the first team game, but a few games under his belt he will be good for you guys. He is too good for the reserves though.
