As far as I know the league only gives money as a once off thing.. Usually before the club even gets to play a league game..That was the case for us...
We actually paid for the uniforms ourselves ...each individual paying for his own uniform...
The rule was u want to play u have to buy your uniform ....worked really well...

Just think if I had gone there I'd be tossing up whether to put Bodø on the back or my surname. Either way I'm sure it would have been spelt wrong

Not an original idea. Several clubs have done this in the past including Iggies.

Wanderers did last season. Do they have to buy a reserve kit as well just in case there's a color clash?

Sturt is a legacy of their Dutch background.

As for pink and winning ... Palermo aren't exaclty collecting silverware on a regular basis.

p.s. since you brought it up, who is your favorite desperate housewife?

This happened at Iggies. Players would leave so in someone's infinite wisdom (note mine!), some of their numbers were re-used and this was fine UNTIL the original players decided to come back! All this would seem easy to manage in theory but it became a nightmare, which was why the idea was dropped when new strips were purchased. The next geneartion may have different ideas... The new generation merely laughs at that era.

With numbers being all over the place these days you could issue players with a new number. I remember watching a Sorrento Sands masters match. they all had numbers in the 50's and 60's.
