Yeah we really made sure that it was only your money was used. Asked the federation on that
thats why it took us so long to get new uniforms ..had to wait until you paid this year rego

As far as I know the league only gives money as a once off thing.. Usually before the club even gets to play a league game..That was the case for us...
We actually paid for the uniforms ourselves ...each individual paying for his own uniform...
The rule was u want to play u have to buy your uniform ....worked really well...

Yeah they get to keep and wash their own uniform as it has their name on the back and wateva number they wanted..
Club saves on washing powder and worry lost uniform...

Not an original idea. Several clubs have done this in the past including Iggies.

i haven't seen any other team in orange so shouldn't be any problems with colour clashes

Except for Club Referees who wear the SAASL's vest.

Not many tems out there in Orange except for Sturt Marion...their away kit was orange couple years back....
Also green, purple and pink are almost never worn
Can only wear pink if u have a winning team ...otherwise

what happens if players dont show up on the weekend or the next year ? did you buy extras ?our club have thought about this idea but what do you do about the above problems? should probably start a new topic for this but what do your clubs do

This happened at Iggies. Players would leave so in someone's infinite wisdom (note mine!), some of their numbers were re-used and this was fine UNTIL the original players decided to come back! All this would seem easy to manage in theory but it became a nightmare, which was why the idea was dropped when new strips were purchased. The next geneartion may have different ideas... (Lozza looks over to Kitchimo.)

With numbers being all over the place these days you could issue players with a new number. I remember watching a Sorrento Sands masters match. they all had numbers in the 50's and 60's.
