UNDER 14 WEST GIRLS ZONE CHAMPS!!!!

Fantastic effort today by the girls
Played South First up, and drew 1-1, and made the 1st vs 2nd final by a goal after all the round robin games were played, where we had a rematch against east for first and won 3-1.

Overall
1st. West
2nd. East
3rd. South
4th. North

Northern Zone won its first 3 games but lost to a very good south team.

Congrats to north and rach for winning their respective awards in the under 16s.

South won the Under 12's - congrats pvfc

means that there is more then enough talent comin from each different areas to suggest womens soccer wont be dominant by any one team which hopefully means an exciting future in the league

well done U/14 west girls!! we did deserve to win after coming 2nd 2 years now!great goals lucy and celeste and well done east for a great game!!!south was a hard match to make it into the finals but having the 1 extra goal was what put us through to a great 3-1 win!!!DID WE WIN?YES DID WE WIN WITH PRIDE?YES WHO ARE WE?WEST 1,2,3 WEST HUH!! well done girls i had a great week end and thanks leighbird and maryness for the great coaching lol xoxoxo

U12 SOUTH GIRLS - CHAMPIONS!!

Have to say that my U12 State girls showed thier pedigree this week end - they showed the way to a very young and very 'small' South team who really got things together to win the final against a team who beat them 3-1 in the first game.

Casey - outstanding GK
Alicia - held defence together really well
Vanessa - midfield star
Megan - midfield, centre forward,and voted as captain by the team - lead by example - top scorer with 5 of our 8 goals this week-end.
The rest of the team, great performance, and and showed they have potential and desire to do well in future.

well done bill and pvfc its good to see the talent out there , yes bill would have been her , i copped a bucket of water after we won the championship,, was also good to see that the two teams that were rivals during the season got together and showed the class in this area, well done olympic and toros,

congratulations to all my team mates in U16 north we had a great squad, it was definately a challenge to win, all 5 teams were as good as each other. It definately helped with a great coach and hope he comes and coaches us all again next year.

Finally got them and theirs spellin mistakes and wrong names put for people...surely cant be that hard to get it right considering the amount of time they take.
