heard 2 RUMOURS.

1. they are folding hence the goals are down and they forfeited last week.

2. goals down temporarily and they forefieted last week because they lost all the passes.

Ok firstly the club is not folding.

The goals are down because the school also play football on the ground hence the football goals behind the soccer ones.

And the referee who reffed the Peckers vs Sierra Stars game two weeks ago lost our cards, how does that happen?!

Welcome to the forum, nicc90.

Player passes are handed back with the team sheet to the Club representative who signs the team sheet to 1. acknowledge receipt of passes and 2. confirm agreement with the match result (i.e. final score, goal scorers, substitutions, cautions and/or send-offs, injuries). The only passes that would not have been returned were those for players sent-off - these are posted to the SAASL along with the Referee's send-off reports.

If the passes were "lost", this is not a big deal. The SAASL is able to print and issue replacements almost immediately from its office.

how can a ref lose the passes. I thought when you sign the team sheet, you sign to say you have the cards back.

Sounds like the person handed the cards coming up with an excuse as he in fact lost them.

Nah trust me the ref lost them.

Our coach went to him at the end of the game, he told him he couldn't find em.

Well then, as long as you marked that on the team sheets or didn't sign them, then I guess that ref is in trouble. If not then I'm afraid you don't have a leg to stand on and it becomes your fault.

SAASL will not send them. Someone from your club needs to collect from Grange.

Why the big fuss about these passeses anyway? It's not as if anyone needs them to get into a night club or buy drinks at the bar.
