Can i just say Inter have managed possibly the two most horrible away shirts i've ever seen. I saw Ibra running off after scoring with his red cross shirt on and i thought he was a fkn paramedic.........

Italy.... are good at doing whatever it takes to win. They are a disgrace off the ball, but when they have the ball they are structured and play decent football. Spain are the cleaner version, but have been a joke until the last few years. Italian fans don't take that the wrong way, but that's just how it is. Baggio was the only one that didn't dive.

It's just a shame Italian's dive too much, if they played with like men maybe the world wouldn't hate them so much...

4. a garter, esp. one attached to a garter belt or girdle.
5. Heraldry. either of two human or animal figures flanking and supporting an escutcheon in an achievement of arms.

so where a person is born should not be a reflection of whom they support!

so you were born in one country, yet choose to 'support' another?

sick patriotism dude.

hmmm, I was born in Italy mate! So whats ur point?????

so why are you argueing against me? i said in my original post it may or may not apply to some people....but shits me when someone supports another nation over the one they were born in.

has absolutely nothing to do with the arguement but you can continue to shift the goal posts, insert strawmans about countries with different major codes etc. etc. all day if you wish

now for some light-hearted entertainment (not sure if this is serious)
...I completely agree with Ray Wilkins, but would go further and say that until a player has conquered the Premiership, they can't truly be considered a world-class player. Soft Option surrender monkeys such as Kaka, Messi, Xavi have neither the bottle nor character to play at the highest level week in, week out. Sure they can turn it on once or twice a season against Man Utd and completely spank them, but you've until you've proved yourself in battle week in week out against West Ham, Sunderland et al your nothing but a soft as shite Johnny Foreigners.

Yes, in 1950.

Don't really see what it has to do with some friendly tournament though.

Didn't Italy lose to North Korea or something ages ago? That's pretty embarrassing.

considering the "count" England would have been better off sticking with their "we're too good policy"

Could have help the pound keep it's value against the euro if they didn't have to pay four Italians a fortune to try and teach them how not to lose

One thing about the Italians, whenever they get a bad result they come back with a vengeance. 66 loss to North Korea, 68 Euro champions 70 World Cup finalist.

england?, they blame the weather, ref's, language, food, anything but themselves.

It's easy to sit back and play in a friendly, but in a knock out tournament against different styles of football, where one mistake inside 90 minutes can cost you the match it's another story.

Considering the english didn't have the balls to prove their point and going by their track record since 1950 (mind you for the greater part of those 60 years they still trying to tell everyone that they're the best) I can't see how you can try and claim any recognition other than the world cup that was gifted to you in 66 as part of the dealings that came out of WW2
