Cup round eligibility?
Can anyone answer the questions below (hopefully the are clear enough)?
1. if both 1st team and reserves are still in the cup can a player who has already played the 1st round of the cup in the 1st team get dropped to the ressies?
2. if a reserves player sits in the bench for the 1st team but DOESN’T come on is he still eligible to play ressies the next round?

Re: Cup round eligibility?
I think it is no in both circumstances, he / she is tied to the team...except for a reserve goalkeeper listed on the card and not used.BADA BING wrote:Can anyone answer the questions below (hopefully the are clear enough)?

I wear orthopedic shoes so I may stand to be corrected.

NO and NO
The only players that play in the First Team that are eligbile for selection in a reserve team are GKs, are long as they don't come on. They must play as a GK in teh Reserve Cup game, or that club will forfeit.
