Might I suggest everyone get there for the early match and see the two teams most likely to join you in the Prem. next season . WHEN the Pink Panthers win , they'll be 8 points clear at the top
I agree with the first sentence; however the second may be a bit optimistic considering Flinders is the only team to have already beaten the Panthers this season.
I imagine it will be a very competitive match between two top teams. I hope that there will be lots of supporters to cheer everyone on.

GO FLAMES!!!
As it turned out , it was a competitive match . Panthers looked comfortable 2-0 up but the Flames got 1 back just B4 the break . 2nd half , Flames had us on the back foot a fair bit , but we managed to hold on .A good match between 2 top teams (Div 1 ) A good turn out by Panther supporters , too. :D

I suppose sometimes making such bold predictions in May could back fire on you and make you a target?

Panthers now only on top by one point with the tea min third having two games in hand, plus only six points between the top five teams.

A brave person to have predicted this. Could still happen, but to me open for any of the top five. All to play for in the last few rounds in my opinion!

it was. he's just reminding us that the the panthers are not quite as clear at the top of the table as they though they might be.

or something like that.

That is correct Changeling.

In May 2009 someone from Pink Panthers felt compelled to writie that comment about how good these two teams were and effecetively that these two would probably be the teams fighting out as to who would go up, both the Pink Panther teams (div 1 and div 3) at the time were sitting on top of their leagues. But for some reason or other this is now not the case and in fact both have suffered loses of late.

To me this was a very brave and tall statement to write so early in the season as I would suspect most teams below them had just been given a little incentive to play harder! just an opinion of course.

Good luck to them both if they do achieve what was said, but as most people would know it is not over until the slightly none dieting lady warbbles and then shouts at the end of the season.
