Should be a cracking game, Both teams flying high, from my experience, no matter what position these teams are on the ladder they are tight contests. The away team won both fixtures last year. Expecting a big crowd, cant wait!!

Going to be 2 cracking games that's for sure, I'm looking forward to it.

Gully need to back up their good wins last week in the A's & B's when we beat Easties & Vista will want to bounce back after losing both games to the Vikings. Bring it on!

Earth to Brint.
I was making a joke.

Earth to Meekus.
Duh, okay? I knew that.

Earth to Brint.
I'm not so sure you did...

'cause you were all,
"I'm sure he's heard of styling gel"...

like you didn't know it was a joke.

I knew it was a joke, Meekus.
I just didn't get it right away.

very apporpriate to captain obvious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friday late arvo qantas flight from darwin arrives

You cant beat a good old fashioned derby game.
Vista won it last year at the Gully and they are playing some great stuff
at the moment from my contacts so I'm going for an A Team win to Vista.
The reserves is hard to pick though as Vista seem to be struggling to find that right combination
to get them over the line lately, experience is needed in my opinion and if 'crazy' is going to sit on the bench
for the A's and not get a run again then give him 90 in the ressies, he will make a difference
especially with 'vistabhoy' alongside him, if that happens then I'd go both games to Vista, if not then its ressies to TTG.

Then again its cup final weekend in the UK so it may boil down to who done the right thing the night before!!!
Too many beers watching the game early hours Sun morn could mean defeat, what matters more boys?
Watching the cup final or a victory on Sunday to keep the Div 1 dream alive?
Carpe Diem.
The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil! :-)

Just to clarify mate when TTG VS VISTA is written and you said the away team won both games it looks like your saying VISTA won both games last year. Pretty simple. I dont need help but YES you could have explained yourself a bit better.

Great to see that it has started already. Definitely no love lost between these two teams. I've played against both teams already but it is too close to call for me. However, I do think it will be a high scoring affair.

Hope he gets checked for either BIRD,HORSE or PIG flu ???
We dont care whether he plays or not !! But Ive always wondered how does your first team keeper feel playing up until now and obviously doing ok ,then have to step aside to let AC play ???
Also hows the new Coaches feel about it ???
I know its like winning the WORLD CUP for you boys but..................... just another 3 points to us ????

Bottom pitch looks great "mowed" it myself today !!!

here's my tip[, out on a limb with this..........here goes.......the team that scores more than 1 more goal than the other, will win the game....just throwing it out there

unless multiple "own goals" are scored for which you get shot for!

Don't be silly Gully boyz you should know what this match means and its much more than just 3 points take it from someone who has played for both clubs! If you are only playing for 3 points in this one then you might be in trouble

... you are right only first team results matter in the overall scheme of things.... but try telling that to the b team players. We all play to win and at the gully we hope these young B teamers get hungry for success, get game time in the A's so the whole club can move forward.

same at vista but promotion is what the club wants and its good for the b team to win trophies, you need your a team winning things or pushing for promotion or it doesn't matter..

Show some respect to your reserves mate, because most reserve players could go to the lower leagues and play first team but choose to stay and play at the club they love!!!!!!!!!

PS: What was the score in the reserves again! LOL!

No good not having results in the ressies tho if a team is promoted cause they will struggle when they move up a div! The reserves should be out there pushing for first team spots which means getting results

if you read my post i ageed with lance on this point... b teams should be pushing the a team and creating selection headaches for the a's coach but there is no need to come on a forum bragging about a reserves result, especially when the first team and reserves match were played in good spirit and the reserves match was equal for about 55 minutes...
