I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

Well for all those that think we should shut up about referrees because they are endangered go pull yourselves because the wank that officiated our game today should be lynched for what he allowed to go on.... it was fortunate nobody had their legs broken......

on the game front.....croats missed a penalty early on which cost them....we scored with a god headed goal late in the first half and thats the way it stayed...croatia had a player sent off for head butting and piled on some pressure late in the game but we hung on to take the points....

thanks for the beer RW...see you next round 8)

Other wise he wouldn't agree with what I said. At the end of the day it was a very good game :D :D
I was the idiot that "talked myself into a red". Agreed I take full blame for getting sent off because I put myself in that position.....but I must say, what is going on when two lads cant have a bit of a crack at eachother without a referee taking his power trip to the next level. I am shattered with myself and have noone else to blame but me....however if players got sent off every week for swearing at another player then there'd be people missing games left right and centre. As for the game.....thought a draw would have been a fair result....and yes our keeper pulled off some cracking saves today.....he has been solid for us for the past few weeks.

if you were one of my team mates,i would be pretty pissed off with you,to be honest i think you cost your team 3 points today.

a's game was a tight contest, almost exactly like last week against munno para we conceded a goal with about 15 to go. then conceded another almost straight away before scoring what proved to be just a consolation goal.
our reserves managed to lose their game after despite playing so well for about 70 minutes. san marco to their credit were much more ruthless in front of goals and secured the victory with two late goals.
well done to our hosts and must also add fantastic facilities and food to boot.

c1's won 5-0 at macedonia
c2's 8-1 vs munno para.

A great game to watch and the East boys looked comfortable with 10 men, older heads than the Gully but in the end the East ran out of legs. The Gully to their credit just kept going and going. By the way silver fox, where did you stand during the game
It's good that some one else saw the game the same way I did. Im sure that both teams will be there or there abouts at the end of the season. As for where i was standing, if you are who I think you are I may have been Quite close to you! :D

The ref set the pace letting an over the ball tackle go with just a yellow very early.
Even then, he was reluctant to pull a card out.
After that it was open season.
The ref even called offside when your linesman was shooing away a butterfly with his flag. (3 times)
The headbutt was out of line and is being adressed. Apologies.

Sick of talking about luck. Missed penalties, last minute goals, etc.
Your goal was threaded through the eye of a needle into the top corner.

Good to meet you pal.
Thought youd be taller though.

yes our first win at last, we should have had the game wrapped up by halftime but missed chances and kept Grove in the hunt. Credit to Grove who fought back really well and pushed us all the way defended well and Mark in goals pulled off some great saves

Wont say too much about Reserves first half although credit to Grove for sorting out an incident that could have been so much worse and second half was enjoyable

It happens nearly ever year that a player gets sent off for a headbutt at Gepps Cross. :P

It was always going to be a hard match and i dont think anyone has a problem with that but its a shame he spoilt(for both sides) what shouldve just been a good hard contest. Head butt wasnt anything serious and i thought some of the tackles probably warranted a red more then that...but we can all go to work tommorrow and thats the main thing....

I am taller but had to wear my flats today coz of the wet conditions

the farm were overwhelmed by 3 goals in 30 minutes today against florina. the scary thing is if it wasnt for some great saves from rob greenwood ( farm keeper) , it could have been about 5 nil at halftime. torsten rutter was brought on at halftime and (imo) created a more physical offence for the farm. would have been nice to see him from the start but thems the breaks. i wont lie, i shot off arround the hour mark but from all reports the farm pegged two back and florina were looking quite tired in the last 15. the damage had clearly already been done though. 3-2 definately looks respectable but i know the boys will be seething with their first half. im sure we will bounce back next week.

the B's ended 4-1 and had we been more clinical in front of goal, i dare say it would have been alot more. a tough contest as always and a thanks to the florina boys for a hard fought game.

Good win bosna regarding how many players were out. Blue eagles took lead twice once they got a red all uphill for them they played some good football good luck for rest of the year.
Well done k-man, a good win for your boys. We only took the lead once though (at 1-0). There was plenty of chances for both teams, but Bosna ran over us once we had a player sent off. The B's was disappointing - a disallowed goal for us, and then a last minute penalty for Bosna.
