EPL Relegation
It's going to go down to the last week!!
Bottom Four:
Team Played Pts
Hull City 37 35
Newcastle 37 34
Middlesbrough 37 32
WBA 36 31
I think Hull with bow out, as they are playing Man Utd next week
Newcastle to be relegated?
WBA play liverpool tonight

Hull will be hoping that ManU will rest a fair bit of the team for the Champion's League final now the Premiership is wrapped up. The others will be hoping for the opposite!ruud wrote: I think Hull with bow out, as they are playing Man Utd next week

There wasn't Ruud, it was Nolan's obstruction of Mark S.
That might end up costing them a EPL spot.

Re: EPL Relegation
it's so hard to believe hull are fighting or suvival after having 27 points going into the new year and only collected a futher 8pts from 17 games..man utd to rest players and their youngsters still to beat hull say 3-0 but newcastle may just scab the point needed now west ham have no europe to play for..

Re: EPL Relegation
Ronaldo is still going to want that golden boot, he is equal with Anelka with Gerrard one goal behind both of them. Will be interesting to see what SAF does about that.
Foster is out, so i wonder if VDS will play too.

Re: EPL Relegation
I really hope Villa beat the Bar Codes and condemn them to relegation, love to see Hull stay up. If they go down Newcastle board have themselves to blame with their revolving managers door policy. Relegation will place huge financial strain on the club. I wonder how many of the 50,000 Geordies would watch them week in and week out in the Championship.

Re: EPL Relegation
Fergie has hinted that he will be resting his major stars as he has enough depth still to win the game. He wants his players the be fresh for the trip to rome with only a few days rest before the champs league final and final round.
I hope ronaldo plays as I want him to win golden boot as I had money on him from the start of the year at 7 to 1

I agree tbh. They will be fighting for an EPL spot, whilst Ronaldo will be doing tricks at the corner flag! Re: EPL Relegation
If Newcastle went down surely large number of their squad would move on, I can't see Owens, Martins, Duff, Guthrie,Taylor,Bassong, Nolan and Viduka playing in the second tier of English football.
