That's bullshit! What's our coach doing over there??? On Wednesday I hear we were supposed to have a pretty good squad... now I hear we have at least 3 key players out! PLUS one of the boys had his 21st last night so don't count on him or the blokes that went to it!!

We came out hard in the first 20-30 minutes and should have had a goal or two but again didn't take our chances. Rest of the first half was pretty even. Second half started the same way the first ended with both teams playing well.
And that's when it all started. About 5 minutes in we got a good running goal down the flank and in celebrating the goal, our player took off his shirt and ran near the corner flag. A few of our players ran over to him and told him to put the top back on, thinking he would get booked... but the ref did nothing. We all walk back to our positions to get ready for the kick off and just as the ref is about to blow the whistle, a Maco supporter yells something to our player that just scored. He responds with a finger and the referee walks over to him and shows him two yellows. One for taking the shirt off (2 minutes after the event) and one for the finger. Defining point of the game as we completely lost the structure after that and in my opinion definitely cost us the 3 points.
Not trying to take anything away from the Macos though, well done to them for fighting hard all the way to score two good goals.

Like I said, we dominated the first 20-30. Then it was pretty even up until our goal with both sides threatening. Nicky did hit the post but you're forgeting our attack that missed the post by a whisker and hit the back post that holds the net.
Our guys were dispossesed by Elvis and other defenders 5m away from goal about 5-6 times in the first half alone - i.e. trying to walk the ball into the goal rather than having a shot.
After the send off, it completely turned around and I don't think we even came close to your 16 yard box.

nah he's a good lad just got a bit excited but what i dont understand is that if your gonna get your kit off then go stick it to the supporters but he ran to the corner flag in the top corner of the ground where there is noone to be seen for over 100 mtrs...all in all a good even contest.

it wasn't the striker that got sent off. striker came off injured mid way through the first half - tore his hammie. he was replaced by a 40 year old that can't run.
the guy that got sent off played right wing.

we were all over the place after that... the 40 year old bloke that came on was put as the striker first up. then he said he can't run, went back to centre back and pushed one of the centre backs up forward. both ended up doing fuck all. the other striker went to right midfield and did fuck all.

i reckon your B side could have beaten us in the second half. it was terrible.

Why get such an old bloke to coach? Next thing Stevo will be coaching. I believe Zafa offered his services to coach our boys this year - personally I couldn't see it working.

We always just get "one of the boys", player or ex player to coach - not many volunteer for it but every year we seem to find someone who is willing to have a crack. i.e. train with 10 blokes once a week, fill in the paperwork and deal with the muke of seeing who's coming or not 10 mins before kick off on game day.

Results so far this year are not a reflection of our coach - it's the loss of 5-6 good players, plus it's not getting any easier for those that have stuck around being another year older etc.
