This was cleared up after a bit of discussion with the coaches however she said was intimidated by the West Adelaide people and the result stood as Playford winning.

If its as simple as Europa League suggests then it should easily have been sorted out there and then. Some part of the story conveniently left out perhaps?

the referee agreed that the game was lawfully over after 5 penalty kicks each.
the game could have gone on until next sunday on sudden death penalties to no avail.
the federation will clearly decide.

The referee did not lawfully say the game was over after 5 penalties. The game was decided after 7 penalties each which Playford won.
