Re: Westers
Officially, Aaron has gone to Campbeltown as of this week. A little birdy has told me. Is that true Uncle Cranker or M Andrea? these blokes have disapeared off the face of the earth lately
Re: Westers
This would be dissapointing for the lads out there.
What you may find though is that if he does play for Cambeltown, he will continue to coach the lads at Florina, and IMO he will still have a big impact of the club from the sideline.

Re: Westers
I recall MAndrea saying what he would do to him if he did leave in a thread that was posted a couple of months ago. So are you a man of your word MAndrea?
Re: Westers
Heard the same thing, and is true, but the catch was that i go with him to campbeltown so as not to give him the injuries i said i would Look, let's all stop these rumours and yes he still gets phone calls from alot of clubs. Good players are obviously chased. I would expect the likes of Raiders, Modbury and Campbeltown or any super league team to ring him. But the fact of the matter is he sticking it out no matter what is offered on his plate, whether it be financial or scare tactics, he's now Flrorina furniture end of story.
Big boutso in golo!

Re: Westers
if that is true, good on him for stickin with it and resisting the tempatations, saw him in action against westies and he is entertaining to watch. Good for the amateurs and the spectators who get to see him in action imo.

he said the free bbq after the game at Florina was too good to resist becuase the chicken wings are the best he has ever had

Seriously though why would you go back to the super league if your getting paid better, got a great bunch of lads and its probably easier for you in the amateur league.
Re: Westers
It's been a pleasure to watch westers in the 2 games that they have played against westies. He cetainly kept all the young defenders busy and would be interested what he thought of the boys. He went of limping near the end so hope all was well
Re: Westers
Well in mate good to hear your enjoying Sunday amateurs. I'll tell Rocky next time I see him that Super League clubs cant compete with the big boysAZZA15 wrote:just so this rumour can be put to rest and stopped...i was approached by campbelltown but have kindly rejected the offer as i am enjoying playing and coaching at florina,i have made alot of friends and at the moment we are trying to play good soccer and i want to try and make the club successful....one more thing m.andrea wouldnt be able to catch me even if he wanted to hurt me.

Re: Westers
to be honest the offer from campbelltown was very generous to say the least but my decision had nothing to do with money at all. Florina gave me a chance to coach when other clubs like modbury and raiders wouldnt so i owe it to the prez, players and supporters to give it a really good go if im no good at it i will put my hand up and say so..sprogget as for westies they look a well organised unit who work for each other and know there jobs individually, you could do with a couple of older heads to control the pace of the game but i think if the team can stick together for a while good things could happen down on northbri ave...
