Re: Drogba
Drogba is the reason why Chelsea lost today !!!!
Missed his chances, but MORE importantly, his rolling around in the 2nd half was the reason for the 4 minutes of injury time, and we all know what minute Barcelona scored their goal !!!
I think my son will be taking his Drogba poster off his wall tonight

Re: Drogba
I can understand his frustration. He missed a sitter, got dragged and the ref did rip them. Well, what comes around, goes around, Mr Drogba. I think Chelsea should sell him anyway. He is a renown sook and I reckon EUFA will treat him fairly harshly.
Personally, I did predict 1-1 and I'd rather a Man U v Barca final anyway.

Re: Drogba
As a Chelsea fan i think it's a fkn disgrace the way he rolls around all the time. The ref was shit and cost Chelsea at least one spot kick, so i can see why he was furious at the end.
They are both screwed, UEFA will not tolerate this, especially Drogba into the camera, that was way too much, and i'm sure he regrets it now.
I reckon most people would have lost there mind watching there 94 minute volley hit the opponents arm instead of going straight in... Granted it wasn't a penalty but no one can seriously say they wouldn't have been furious... we've all been there.

Re: Drogba
Ballack was given a yellow during the match, he cannot face any further investigation can he ?
Drogba on the other hand was already on the bench but he too received a yellow card, not sure about the later incident with the camera, maybe a charge of bringing the game into disrepute ?

You are joking about his arm arent you. If you consider the armpit to be part of the arm then you are right, otherwise take your chelsea hat off for at least one minute.Litmanen wrote:As a Chelsea fan i think it's a shiraz disgrace the way he rolls around all the time. I did say it wasn't a penalty.... It was more arm than shoulder and back put it that way...Scudetto8687 wrote:You are joking about his arm arent you. The point I'm making is that it would've made me pretty angry too.

3:50 roughly. It hit his arm.
Re: Drogba
Little part of me died this morning. Out of the 4 claims, you can't say not one of them was a penalty. All of them would have been given on another day. The referee was consistently horrible for both teams yes, but at the end of the day it was Chelsea that suffered for it not Barcelona. Drogba was right, it was a f-ing disgrace, but he too is a disgrace for yelling it directly at the camera on live tv.
Just a few points; Hiddink's post match comments were we should have put the game away so that refereeing decisions would not have been a factor at the end of the day, but 3 or 4 legitimate penalty claims were made, none were given, and that is what has marred what was otherwise a dominating performance from Chelsea. Second thing I'd like to draw attention to is Ballack gave the referee an earful, but from what I saw he didn't lay his hands on the referee at all. I haven't seen replays, I don't much care to, but when I saw it live I didn't see him lay his hands on him at all.
Barcelona are going to be destroyed in the final. Missing both full backs to suspension, Ronaldo is going to tear them to shreds. Pains me to say it but you all are talking about karma, then that's their karma. For them to win the champions league on the back of a result like that would be a travesty. Bottom is they didn't deserve to advance this morning, but then that is football.
Oh and the person who said Chelsea is a small club who will never win a champions league, I just had to LOL. So effectively you are saying that you are only a real fan if you follow a team that you percieve to be 'big'? Never is a long time buddy, and 5 semi-finals in about as many years says enough. Of course we will win one you tool. Even if it took 500 years it would still trump your dickhead call of 'never'. lol

Re: Drogba
I agree. After watching the replay, I cannot believe none of them decisions were not penaltys. This years UCL Final should be the same as last year, I never thought I'd say this but Chelsea got fucked by the referee.CFC10 wrote:Little part of me died this morning. If I was a Chelsea fan, I would definately want United to smash Barca, no matter how much rivalry there is.

Re: Drogba
Both Anelka and Drogba dived and rolled so much, if the referee was doing his job properly they both would have been sent off. Abidal was never a send off. Ballack should be banned for his shite, Drogba should be hobbled and not allowed to play again, his antics are just disgraceful and im not talking about after the game, thats expected (hes a wanker) but his continual cheating ruins the game.......If there were Drogba's in every team i would stop watching football and if i was a chelsea fan i would be outraged that his cheating is associated with my team.
I feel bad for Essien, Lampard and Cech 3 players that give thier all.

PS: Spurs remain a quality side, I don't care what you say. The Feyernoord Jubileum Tournament doesn't win itself, you know.

Re: Drogba
how can u say it was drogba's fault chelsea lost, yeah he missed a couple of good chances but so did barca, no team takes all their chances
i just feel sorry for essien who's didnt clear the ball properly that spilled to messi then onto Iniesta for the winner
i shed my first tear in a long time this morning because i am a passionate supporter and will stick by my team win loss or draw
We tactically destroyed Barca over the two legs and were very unlucky to lose, hopefully the FA cup can top off a great second half of the season for the mighty BLUES
by the way how did he miss that hand ball, FFS

Re: Drogba
c-mon people the ref went out there and gave it his best shot after all he was under ALOT of preassure sure maybe he was abit of a disgrace but
you cant say he was against Chelsea becoz he wouldnt give those penalties
and you cant say he was against Barca becoz he red carded Abidal and yellow carded Alves
as for Piques' hand ball...isnt the rule hand to ball is when the ref can award a free
Pique had his arm raised slightly the whole time and Anelka played it into him
Drogba...well hes gonna get what he deserves
another thing...what Martin Tyler said after the match
"you gotta suffer the bad times to enjoy the good ones"

I think anyone in that situation where its a playoff for the final in the CL and u your pumped, the team has performed to the best of their ability and held out a top side for that amount of time and the decisions aren't going your way, your natural reaction is to explode ,like Drogba and go mental. The ref was inexperienced and made poor decisions in game he should of performed at.You will find Guus,Terrry and Lampard are 100% behind him as its a natural emotion when u consider the outcome and what is at stake in that league. It's a wonder the ref got out of The Bridge alive...He was without doubt a Numbnuts, wouldn't be surprised if they get him back for the FA cup Final, now thats kharma lol.

if the ref was inexperienced he shouldnt be in charge of a champions league semi, simple
it is hand ball everyday of the week, your local ametuer B grade ref would see and call that

Re: Drogba
the ref was a massive p3ni5...but to whoever said before, chelsea outplayed them - clap clap to chelsea....but have more possesion and outplaying a team - then you only have yourselves to blame for the loss?
How many times to you see teams snatch it at the last minute, im a liverpool supporter - that how we roll....it happens all the time. If chelsea played so well, then they should have won.
The ref had a shocker, personally i though that the Pique handball was less a penalty that some of the other ones.
