I think communism is upon us lads..... if you know MP you will know that he is the last bloke that would whinge or stand down but i agree with his comment in the topic which was locked.....what the phark is this forum coming to when you cant have a say because you'll hurt the poor ref's feelings....ive been in the thick of things several times and at the end of the day who cares its just an expression of thought and some banter amongst fellow users..... perhaps the commo moderators should just delete everything except the results pages

if you don't want something said about your club fix it in house..take a look in the mirror, just cause others are saying something about your club don't mean they are wrong and can't have a voice..
spot on, theres are a few b grade refs that lean slightly to there own club when officiating, i dont really have too much off a problem with that, its expected, but there is a couple of clubs that are just disgraceful, they know who they are, disgraceful

In the last few years that I have been playing Ressies, I've never really had to much of a problem with club referees. Eddie from the Vale has his moments, Louey from Florina doesn't cheat but he is known to get a few things wrong in a game. Lefty isn't bad at Gardens, Inter's this year got the actual decisions right but you couldn't even say hello to him with been carded.
The only trouble I have had was Adelaide Villa about 4-5 years ago, Bosna about 4 years ago and Downs 3 years ago. In fairness to The Downs, they didn't let that guy ref again and paid for and E&D ref to do the job.
Overall though, I think if we all took our one eyed glasses off, we would realise that most club referees get the main decisions right and get a couple of the minor decisions wrong which is better than half of the offical refs

At the end of the day, people remember the bad calls, not the good ones. And Im sure there are more positives than negatives.

and look in the mirror cause it was a game at your ground and was pretty much the same 3-1 down we score a cracker for 3-2 and probably 3 -5 mins left and soon as the kick off we gained possesion got out side the box and never heard the final whistle blown so quick neally dropped the whistle getting it to the mouth, i neally fell on the ground laughing but that's b's.

alm01 you say there was 3-5 mins left so really you not sure how much time was left to start off with???
& you say as soon as you got the ball the whistle was blown but you just knew that there must have been time left so our referee must have cheated...
That's why this topic is crap...
IT'S JUST PEOPLES OPINIONS ON REFEREE DECISSIONS & THAT AIN'T GONNA CHANGE!
perhaps that s as much as we can say without some putz getting upset over it....
and has unstable side affects if not handled with care
