From the discussions going on in here it would really 'fire up' a few people thats for sure.

Me, I couldn't give a rats A one way or the other other. I don't think they would really be a threat now or in the future........just another game to play. I think they would prefer to stay in Scotland and be big fish in a small pond.

We can debate it all we want, but history suggests this won't even get off the ground. Why not the let the top Belgium teams join the French league? Same with the top 4 teams in Portugal let them play in Spain. Now it starts to sound totally stupid right.....!!!!

It would send shock waves all through Europe, how long do you think it would be before the top 20 clubs started talking about a European League of their own?

FIFA and UEFA would put a stop to it. Right now there is no harm in the few clubs that are playing across borders but once it starts to filter up to the top league there will be a lot of very nervous people in the corridors of power.

I'm sure the people of Manchester would really welcome Rankgers into the league (or was that Chelsea fans in disguise as claimed by Dignity FC supporters)......and the people of Barcelona (Rankgers the only team in European history not allowed to defend their trophy....... they riot when they win, they riot when they lose. No wonder you follow Millwall and Rankgers. :clown:

Evidence please of Celtic fans "kicking off" in London?????.................answers on a postcard.
BNP facist! what a pathetic argument, typical of internet arguments, show any semblance of right wing and you get called a BNP member (for those not akin to English politics - the BNP are a right wing movement who believe in looking after British before foreigners).

When have I ever said I follow rangers? i couldn't care less about scottish football BUT i do hate celtic and their minority scum supporters who chant about terrorists.

Evidence of celtic fans kicking off in London, well what are they trying to do but provoke a fight when they come to the capital and sing IRA songs. Are you going to deny this happens, because as I've said before I've been at one of those fulham games when that is exactly what has happened. You and me both know trouble happens when celtic come to London it' just you have your head in the sand about it.

What next? you going to claim that celtic don't chant secterian songs.

both teams are tying to stear clear of secraterianism these days but they cannot control all of the fans, there is always a minority at any club who go to far and are stuck in the past, as a millwall supporter you must know that as millwall fans have a very big reputation the preceeds them...

as for competing with clubs in europe, as i have already stated 2 of the last 3 years we have made the knockout stages of europe and this season we took man utd all the way in both games and got the draw at celtic park, scoring first no doubt and while playing 19 year old cillian shridan up front due to injury problems...

back to the topic, celtic and rangers would join premier league 2 and have to earn their stripes but with the extra money both would compete and would be in the top tier before too long, would the bottom 3 in PL2 go down to the footbal league as i think it was proposed only one or 2 teams change in the 2 PL divisions...

i think there would not be a big problem over europe as scotland is part of the UK and it is a recognised group of countries and therefore sets it apart, similar to monaco and the liechstenstein and luxemberg teams that play in other countries leagues...

There is only one team in Scotland that sings "sectarian" songs and it isn't us. Rangers fans sing about being up to their knees in catholic blood and F*** the Pope, and F**K you rosary beeds etc

"Sectarianism - A strong or excessive devotion to a particular form of religion, often leading to a resolute prejudice against other beliefs."

Now tell me what songs our fans sing that express an intolerance of another religion? That is why UEFA have fined R*ngers on several occassions for sectarian chanting.

Hawksey get your facts straight before passing comment on my club. Stick to Millwall mate.

And let me know when the next BNP Adeladie chapter meeting is

Kitch - you need to hide the lure a bit better. If you disturb the fish, they won't bite.

I'll always bring up the secterian stuff that celtic do for as long as the celtic supporters deny it happens.
