Athelstone vs PPU
As 3- nil
Bs 1-1

Athelstone had 3 chances and scored 3 times. PPU had numerous chances and dominated most of play but just couldnt finish in front of goal. the score doesnt resemble the game at all.
Unfortunate but thats the way it goes. Good luck to Athelstone for the rest of the season.

Recession = cut backs

So unfortunately 1 of the 3 teams on the day has to miss out. The A’s gets is cause it is the A’s, C’s is run by the Pres and Dad’s Army is away, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who misses out. Although you do the business against the West and I will personally make sure they are there  .

Now now Carra, you wouldn't be trying to say that Ally McCoist (spit) is a King and Larsson isn't? Super swally couldn't lace Henke's boots. Be careful about your reply as your reputation is on the line now :D

What, no write up?

Can you at least tell us if No.8 got chopped or did the chopping?
Just so happens another bloke was wearing the number 8 this week. Last weeks number 8 got in hard as usual but no unfair tackles. Brahma controlled most of the game but failed to put away their chances, game was a bit messy and frustrating for the players considering the size and state of the pitch. One of the substitutions was able to lob the keeper in the last ten minutes 2 finally put a win on the board.
Except for the tackle that he missed when he tried to boot the player out othe stadium.

Should have been booked twice and been sent off but the referee was obviously another case of no knowledge on officiating or consistency.

ROBBO wrote:I don't remember Larsson winning 9 in a row ????

Ally McCoist 465 appearances - 273 goals - 0.6 Goals Per Game
Henrik Larsson 315Appearances - 242 Goals - 0.8 Goals Per Game (Larsson was a winger when he started at Celtic too)

Larsson has scored in 4 world cups (twice against England 8), Has a Champions League Winners' medal at Barca, scored twice in the UEFA Cup final, European Golden Boot award winner, countless PFA awards etc etc etc

Alky McCoist was a poacher and a good one at that but to mention him in the same breath as Larsson is as close to blasphemy as you could get

9 in a row hmmmph, Ingle Farm could have beaten that Celtic team during the mid-90's. :D

End of discussion.

The real golden oldies have all disappeared into family obscurity.
Me, EZ and another guy are the oldest.
Eligible for over 35's.
At the start of the season, it was a hard choice.
An easy season , filled with beer and taking the piss with the veterans.
Or a tough year in Div. 3 filled with bruises (and beer) but with a chance to play beograd.
Maybe for the last time.
Couldnt leave the 2 brothers and H to take all the slack.
Theyre next on the veterani train.
The rest are mid 20's and younger.
I doubt youd know a player in our B's.

What about you guys?
All the big boys out at training?
What are you doing playing A's? You were born here.

That's football I guess. Also I noticed that Gully seemed to have 3-4 starters out for whatever reason.

exactly which game did you watch?

the one that you didnt get a touch in

What are you doing playing A's? You were born here.
I was put in as a back up striker/centre half depending on results. Apparently i am good in the air.

A's are quite good but lose two classy players at the end of May to Serbia. Both young and very quick and skillful. It will hurt us bad but they should be able to patch it up. A's 65 (os), 35% born here and the reverse for b's.

I will outline the line up for the b's by name/surname and maybe you will recall some old faces KARANOVIC (37)6ft 3 103kg

PETROVIC (25) MIHAJLOVIC(25) (39)CHRISTAKOS 39-TAKOV
5 10 75kg 6ft 2 102kg 5 ft 11 100kg 6 ft 0 90

STANKOVIC 30 LALIC-35 POPOVIC-33 BAUK-31
5 ft 8 85kg 6ft 2 114kg 6 ft 2 107kg 6ft 5 90

PETROVIC 32 TISMA37
6 ft 6 135kg 6 ft 3 107

SUBS:
Pavlovic 32 5 ft 11 97kg, Maksimovic-36 6 ft 8 103,Tatic 21 not sure, Tsoukalas 34

Very technical side and physical good in the air and 50/50 ball but very slow. Great on corners/set pieces

on their day very classy but against a running team may struggle

Thats the most information anybody would reveal to the opposition.

Archie not playing in goals? Scared Elvis will lob him from 40m again?

Good to see your boys sticking to the gay theme by hanging out in your jocks together measuring each others stats at training.

Really only the Chileanac with lisp and down syndrome stands out for me, and to be honest he really should have realised soccer was not for him in U/10's. Lalic I assume would be Sasa that I last saw play for Enfield I think it was quite a few years ago. Sludge 103kg? He used to be a bad acne with stick - or was it a stick with bad acne? He dresses very "metrosexual" style these days I hear.

I reckon 6MDM might be right with his assesment.

As for our reserves, I reckon I wouldn't even know half of them...or even the first team from what little I saw against Bosna. Who we playing this week?

Heard Beach beat Gully too.
This was quite possibly one of the worst games that I have EVER seen. Now before the East boys come on here and shot me down for saying this stuff, I dont give a rats because I was a mere spectator with a view... If you dont want to read my review then STOP READING NOW!!!

Anyway, this game was riddled with errors (poor passing over 10mtrs, touches like sex offenders) and was a game of possibly an u/15's game. If Vista end up getting promoted I will run down rundle mall with just a Vista scarf around my neck!!! Surely they were missing 8 of their first team and the worst game they have ever played??? Please tell me so???
As for the East they did miss the 3 players out. But they will not win many games this year if they dont get fitter. They should have run all over Vista in the second half, but instead conceeded a silly goal with no one covering a rampaging Eoin Oneill (even though players were called from the sidelines to do so). They were then too unfit to actually get forward with only 4 players willing to run (and that includes the 2 strikers). They will also not win many games if they cannot hold some sort of defensive shape - i think East Boy was desperately missed today.

Get my frustration, as I am sure the East boys will be. Just get back to enjoying the game boys, encouragement and willing to work for the betterment of the team....

Best player - Peter Carman (only because he kept Vista in the game, and was their only decent player and one guys who could pass)

Rant over....

We'd rather be insulted by you than someone we respect.

Cup round stari.
Might go and check out seaford.

Thats alot of beef general.
At first, I thought it was the "too hard basket" list from Biggest Loser.
Your teams total weight is about that of 4 Yugo automobiles.
Stacked on top of each other, youre as tall as a 7 storey building.
Standing up AND laying down.

Didnt really have much to do with those blokes.
Played against karanovic, lalic, popovic.
A run in with nikola at hindmarsh.
Wheres your 2nd string mob?
Glavonja Boban, Calic bros.?

I dont have our team stats, but I have the biggest biceps.
