SAT DIV 2

A's - OISC 1-2 Salisbury Villa

B's - OISC 2-0 Salisbury Villa

A's - Villa more threatening in the first half, OISC with no shots on goal. Adam Perre got his 5th of the season and Villa 1-0 up at the break. OISC pushed harder in the second half and got an equaliser in the last 15 minutes after Villa had wasted some good chances and hit the bar. 2 minutes after the goal, a silly foul on Joe Calabria gave Villa a penalty and the win.

B's - OISC looked better for most of this game and ran over an undisciplined Villa side previously undefeated but not looking ready to play. Credit to OISC for withstanding any sort of pressure VIlla threw at them and creating some good attacking play.

A's Bosa 3 - Wanderers 2

A very eventful A's game. I will put together a report later tonight.

A's Uni 2 vs. Jets 2
B's Uni 3 vs. Jets 2

Jets imploded a bit in the first half - got a straight red from the ref for abusive language about 20mins in. Think it was 1-1 at the time. Didn't hear what was said, but seemed a little soft. Have you lads pissed him off in the past??? He's normally our bogey ref. They then tried their hardest to get another couple sent off for the same thing, but the ref went lenient on them. :D
In the end, they absorbed a lot of pressure, and got a goal on the break in the second half, and looked good for an unlikely victory, but we got a late penalty, that tied the game.

A's Stirling 0 - Sturt Marion 0 very uneventful game.
B's Stirling 5 - Sturt Marion 1 only saw the 2nd half. Sturt Marion's late goal was a cracker.

You must have been a part of a different game to me today mate coz the referee was speaking to you by first name and not us! If he didn't give you the goals you couldn't have scored in a brothel. Saying that, you were very lucky to get a point against nine men. You have been a part of a league for at least 4 years now, and to not have facilities for an away team is a joke. How do you expect to survive in the years to come?

Not sure what you're on about here. I'm guessing he knew one of our players?
If he didn't give you the goals you couldn't have scored in a macdonalds.
How exactly did he give us the first goal????? The penalty was absolutely there, I was right next to the challenge and it was definitely a foul, no question in my mind. So I don't see you're case here.

In general though I think you're right in that we didn't take our chances well at all. Contrast that with you're teams rather clinical finishing and you're 10 men turned 9 men at the end did very well to draw the game and really deserved to win. Without a doubt our worst performance of the season.
and to not have facilities for an away team is a joke.
What facilities are you talking about?

ever had to deal with the adelaide council?

The pitch is usually superb down at the Uni - one of the best in the league. The changerooms are located a bit of a distance away unfortunately and are antiquated but that's just how it is. I'd take a top pitch over spectacular changerooms any day of the week

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Africa went ahead after about 5 mins this was after the Africa keeper had pulled off about 3 great saves!!!!
Villa missed a penalty after about 10, equalised then conceded a further 2 goals to go in at HT 1-3 down.
Second half started all Villa to bang in 4, leading comfortably at 5-3 with 5 to go. Africa scored again with about 2 to go then awarded a penalty a min later and missed....Villa still leading 4-3.....minute later bang.......Africa equalise..........while still celebrating Villa kick off....bang Cerrac on the back post GOAL..........never seen anything like it

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great day and no probs with the the African boys and there supporters at all........played in great spirit and about 4 fouls for the whole game...

Happy to say i had to stay on the sidelines and watch for this one which might have helped my kidney but did nothing for the heart!!! :)

what a strange bunch the farmers are, clearly had no idea on the laws of the game and blamed the ref for them losing (at 4-0).

haven't been there for a few seasons so don't really know the ins and outs of it tbh - just saying that they've been trying to get redevelopment happening down there for a while but i believe there is difficulties with the council etc. the last home game i attended last year they had drinks for sale and the marquee but maybe they've changed the setup this year for some reason.

What on earth are you on about??? You on your sunday night trip????

There was a tent, there was a bbq and there were beers in an esky on our side of the pitch (though you fellas don't seem shy in bringing your own supply). What were you expecting? Popcorn?

of course we're going to bring our own drinks, every time we've been at your club in the past there has been nothing set up, what else were we going to expect? all I was trying to say is it's a bit disappointing that there's nothing like that set up.
