What's Happening with the Under 16A'S at Salisbury no wins at the moment!
On paper good players, it appears they have lost the desire?
Can anyone out there at Salisbury explain!

Is everything okay down there heard there a few problems with certain players having issues! Perhaps need to re group and focus on playing better soccer.

If the players are good, then what is the Coach and Assistant Coach doing to rectify the problems then.

A sign of a good coach and Assistant should reconise this and utilise their skills to bring the boys on with their development rather letting a few ego interupt the Teams structure dont u think.

Otherwise all that good work from last year as been wasted. :?

you also need to consider that the team are playing in a higher division which may take time to adjust to the different standard to what they have been used to.

Generally speaking there are no easy teams in the higher division as there had been in the case of the lower divisions.

No excuses at this level the Coach and the Boys knew this. They should have a plan in place(Coach, AssistantCoach) to challenge these stonger sides, by recruiting more wisely for players who have a got the skills to adapt to the higher standard rather than keeping boys with less ability to handle. :?

[Well you seem to know all about it, so maybe you can enlighten the coaches. Seems to me that your pretty well informed, or not as the case may be. I think people need to get a grip and realise that these coaches are out there for the boys, not to take victories or to be abused because a team is losing. Someone has to lose, its all in the game. Why when teams are winning, noone congratulates them but no sooner had they lost you get stupid parents....and i stand by that statement, cos thats what they are....stupid.....sitting in the stand making comments like, sack the coach/coaches. (I hope the person that made that statement reads this and might like to get off his asss and maybe have a little positive input and keep the negatives to himself. Grrrrrrr really makes my blood boil. They are a great bunch of kids out there and I for one wish them all the best throughout the season. Keep your chins up boys....... '/color]

Sounds to me that that your already at Salisbury otherwise how would know that the team looks good on paper and they have an assistant coach. Also you must have seen some games to make the statement that they appear to have lost the desire. They have played 4 Games and lost 2 by a single goal and those games could have gone either way. If your at Salisbury as I suspect, then maybe you should make your self known and if you see a problem maybe you could help.

they did that already didn't they its not all the same squad from last year
old saying goes if it aint broken don't fix or you might stuff it

seems the same people are still there from last year who bagged the coaches and parents at any chance but then maybe the football gods are serving karma this year and the insults from the coaches to officials etc is coming back to bite em

New Boot......seems to me as though it could be a case of the 'pot calling the kettle black'.....`sour grapes' or whatever you want to call it. The squad is relatively the same with the exception of a couple, I wonder if youre related to the exception! It doesnt take einstein to work out who you are. And I know that your history doesnt stand you in a good position for judgement now does it.

When you go up a division, everyone has to lift. This means players and coaches.
I think they have the talent but are just not playing as a team. There are also discipline issues which are not being addressed and this causes disharmony.
The old addage, "you play how you train" couldn't be more true in this case also.
Get them fired up, address the issues and get them playing as a team and all will be fine.

Perhaps they should try and vary the Training sessions and have a
'Theme for each session" rather than going through the same old same old training drills!

Lads get bored very easily! Need to nut out the disciplne issues with the players othewise it will be hard slog!

Maybe you should bring up your grievances at the next coaches/ committee meeting instead of a public forum or better still approach the people concerned instead of hiding behind an alias.

The team has to be much better than the results reflect.
There are obviously underlying issues which now have to be sorted with the team/club.
If you haven't had a meeting yet to address these issues, I suggest you get cracking before the cancer spreads further.

Hmmm... i do Agree Salisbury Do need to pick it up but why are we all blaming the coach... I mean come on does the coach play the game on the weekend. i was watching the city game and some of the salisbury players dropped there heads as soon as one goal went in...

I have coached at this age group level before, I find it hard to believe that they are not motivated as individuals and in a position to show some personal pride in their performance, they are not 8 years old ...
