adelaide city

Post by Stav_14 »

i play for adelaide city and yes we did drop players down from under 19s but it was at the start of the season, but i dont know why striker zebra is going on abt panthers dropping down players there allowed to and i have no problem with it. I have to admit the panthers coach is an absolute lad i spoke 2 him after the game and i have to say the best opposition coach ive come across this year. Unlucky for us today but thats football but its been a great yr in the U/17s this year.

adelaide city

Just a few things I need to say before I hang up the boots for another year. I’d like to thank my lads who are a terrific bunch of young men (u r all on my xmas card list!!) and congratulate the Campbelltown City boys for winning the U/17 league title and Adel. City lads for their cup win. Both titles were very well deserved by 2 very talented and well coached sides. Would like to point out to some zebras who thought they’d been cheated, that a league title is won or lost over a whole season. The team I had for our last game vs. A.City was identical to the one that beat Campbelltown 1-0 at home in the first game of the season. Also the 12 players I had for the A.City game (5 of which played an exhibition game on the Sat. and 1 who played in goals for our U/15’s in the game before ours) were the only U/17 players that the club had fit and available for me to use. The week before vs. Metro was the same side with no subs. So let’s not hear anymore about how our “stackedâ€￾ team cost you the league. Especially from a club that possesses some of the best talent in the state and has the luxury of having fresh players, 3 subs and a substitute keeper on the bench every week. Finally I’d like to thank the A.City player who spoke to me on the pitch after the last game. Your club should be proud to have you as you’re not only a class act on the soccer field mate you are also a champion off it. Look forward to meeting you again some day.
