we lost a couple of players, but thats no excuse. its still generally the same squad as weve had the last two seasons

the players we do have arent performing - simple as that

credit to TTG for the result - they smashed us and it couldve been 10-1

FLORINA SMASH USC LION

Florina made it four wins in a row with a 6 - 1 victory over USC Lion at Underdown Park. The win leaves Florina top of the table and ready for Para Hills West next week. The first half saw Lucky Paikos open the scoring within 10 minutes only to have USC Lion quickly equalise with a 30 yard cracker on the 15 minute mark. Captain Trevor Elliott put Florina back ahead on 25 minutes with an excellent header, soon followed by another Lucky Paikos goal on 32 minutes. The second half saw Florina dominate with Aaron Westervelt scoring an excellent hattrick . The first of his goals came on the 60 minute mark and his second in the 82nd minute, but it was his third goal on the 90th minute where he won the ball took on three players and put it past the keeper to finish off a polished performance for Florina.
Congratulations almo01 being top of the table after the fourth round!

Do you realise that you've played the bottom 3 clubs & they have conceeded an average of 4 goals a game?

Your next 5 games will tell the story, starting this week with West away - Fulham home - Ingle Farm home - Parafield away - Downs at home.

Not bad for an old fart :D (crew head) hey nugget, knew that was coming and here's an explanation for u, because we're 1st and parafield are where? oh yeh, 5 points behind in 4th. Ingle farm, Westies and us have played the same bottom 3. we played and beat the vale and u lost to them, so u have had a slightly harder start to the season than the top 3, but early points are crucial in winning any league, no matter who u play. Say that to the Farm or Westies as well than, not just about Florina. we have been playin some good soccer and when we come to playing Parafield, expect nuthin less, and for the record, i think we will finish above you in the league. We have all gelled and have recruited very well, so we will take a beating from any team mate. So don't come on here and say we have played crap teams and that's why we are there, bollocks, and you know that. Still 4 from 4 and on 12 points. No one else can say that. and you can take that to the Bank! :D

I think the next 4 or 5 rounds will bring out the title contenders. None of the current top 4 four have played each other yet, so it is all good to point the finger at Florina but what make the Gardens any different?

Time will tell.

I can say what I like & said nothing about playing crap teams! What I said was....

You've played 4 games, & those clubs sit 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th the bottom 4 clubs at ROUND 4 that's all....

Vale wont finish 7th & that was a good win for you club.

Yes yammy Gardens are in the same boat with 5 tough games,

I didn't write FLORINA SMASH USC LION - four wins in a row just think you might be getting a little head of yourselves....

IT'S ROUND 4 !

M Andrea,

I really wouldn't like to be at Florina when they start losing games. Your coach is a nut case. I hope he continues to carry on like a pork chop and abuse his players when they miss a cross or pass in wet windy conditions. As soon as you start losing games the wheels will fall off. I think you were in a similar position last year, beat us easily at home, said we'd get relegated and we finished above you :clown:

Hey redders, the team has never been in better shape or frame of mind. Training is as intense as our games. Azza can lose his nut all he wants. It's working and no one is back chatting as some players have done in the past. It's business as usual for a person that is used to proffessional soccer and everyone can hate him all they like, but he's at Florina and i bet a million other teams would have him too. Six goals to his name already and his team Top. No we weren't in similiar position in the years i've been there apart from 2005 when we won second Div. 4 and 0 is our best start ever. We are getting chased and not doing the chasing 4 once.
I think ur animosity is with all the offside calls that were made and he was having hissy fits. Just seemed strange everytime we went forward we all were offside. Not that i could call them. But hate him or love him, he's a class above every :clown: in the amatuer league. Sorry redders, but i still think u are relegation canditates and the same won't be happenning this year.
As for Nugget, yes i understand what ur saying about 4 rounds yada yada. Just the sarcastic comments hit a little nerve, getting ahead of our selves? every team sets their goal on winning the league every year, making considerations to the players they have on hand, and this year we do think we have a great chance. And yes we did SMASH Lion, nuthin wrong with saying that cause 6-1 is a smashing. No offense to redders or the boys, but one thing NUGGETT i can promise you, your not finishing above us this year and i'll bet u a bottle of scotch or what ever you drink on that one. I'm pretty sure u know who i am, so come and collect IF that happens.

exactly you can say what you like.. but when i donate my free time to do florina's website and link from it i can say what the f a r k i want as well..yes we have won four yes they were to lower teams..and have voiced my opinions at the club on the teams to play and the importance of backing these games up.. 6-1 is a smashing :clown: and no one at the club is getting ahead of themselves from the prez down to all involved..your the one reading so much into it..hey if you don't like don't read or should i get you to do the website and match reports for me so you approve of what i right.
when we have been beaten and smashed in previous years i have had ago at florina on the website..
you are the tool of the league all opinions about other clubs and money for players and conduct etc from us to downs, down to divisions you aren't even involved in.. you think you are so bright with ya smart arse comments when you come across as a complete :clown:
