Liverpool 3 Tottenham 0
Liverpool's catalogue of spectacular goals this week had a new entry as John Arne Riise hit a stunning third to seal an impressive 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds hit all their goals in the second-half as they accelrated away from Spurs after a low-key first half.
However, it could been different for the Londoners, if Jermaine Jenas had not contrived to miss, unbelievably, just seconds before Mark Gonzalez put Liverpool ahead in the 63rd minute.
Jenas was only inches in front of the goal but still managed to miss it from an Edgar Davids cross. Spurs were made to pay instantly as Craig Bellamy hit a post and Gonzalez turned it in.
Dirk Kuyt scored his second in a matter of days when he blasted home in the 73rd minute.
Then Riise hit the pectacular third in the dying seconds.

Hey ronaldo07... I'm suprised to not hear you complain about the penalty Reading got against Man U?? Anyway, I for one think it was deinfately not a penalty, defiantely hand to ball! Neville didn't even move his arm away from his body at all and there wasn't a Reading player near the ball.
As well the fact that Reading play the worst soccer of any premier league I have seen this season... the amount of useless, wasteful and aimless long balls was hilarious as well as frustrating to watch!! Reminds me why fans of the Italian and Spanish leagues sometimes put shyte on the EPL!!

Pointless to point it out here ... same as the Lampard's 1st penalty ... it's a bit harsh to call that as a penalty ...
anyway, Utd didnt play a good football last night too .. ronaldo is brilliant .... but should've put Saha + Rooney in the team .... a bit dissapointing ... and im finger crossed wait for giggsy returned .. we seem lost our direction when he's not around ... and pls come back rooney ... u lost ur form since ur return from the ban ....

Nah I think Lampards was a penalty, the player was lying on the ground and then moved his arm towards the ball... he did it subtly but enoguh for the ref to notice, so fair enough... but Neville's was definately not a penalty, no movement of the arm wat so ever!
Reading played so shit, the only reason they got something is cos all they did was defend, long ball up to one of their strikers and then it came back... did that for 90 minutes!! and Ronaldo's goal was brillant, good to watch... almost as good as Riise's

I just hate watching teams like Reading who play typical second division football and get away with it. They are crap and I hope they go down this season... I'm just being honest, like when I say Ronaldo's goal was brillant, its the truth, or like when I say Riise is better Heinze, its the truth
