:) Under 17a's
Comets 1 Para Hills 2

 Congratulation to Campbelltown...deserved winners in my opinion. Would have been difficult for Adelaide City at South Adelaide with the wind ......plus not the most hospitable of places either which is a shame.
Well done boys and enjoy your celebrations.

u couldnt finish, thats no excuse what does that say about your strikers??

your entire team including your coach should have just played the game instead of crying and bitching with one another and the ref...UNLUCKY!!!

strikerzebra your not upset are you.Adel City didnt drop any players down from the 19s did they this season, even with the squad of 17 or 18 players you have. You won the cup, had a very good season and geez even finished second.Be happy and gracious that were in good team and pay compliment to CCSC who were just more consistent with a team that hasnt got the same quality players of your team, just play better as a team.

Congratulations to the CCSC boys, well deserved u17 champions. CCSC vs Western Strikers was a very enjoyably game to watch. Western Strikers had a bulk of the posession in the first half but seemed to overuse the ball and CCSC capitalised by taking their chances. 2-1 with 20 minutes to go, Strikers were awarded a penalty which was brilliantly saved by the number 1 goal keeper throughout the u17 league (in my opninon). CCSC hit the crossbar twice in the final minutes but desrvedly won the match and the title. Congratulations once again.
I do feel for Para Hills who I beleive should have been the team that CCSC was battling for the u17 title. They played a strong and enjoyable brand of football throughout the season. Strikerzebra, don't complain about your team not being able to win when it matters and please don't complain about u19's or 23's being dropped into a squad for a big match because your team were the experts in "winning at all costs". CCSC the best u17 team this season and the most consistent.

Sore loser striker zebra!!!
Go The Panthers. (As Mike Rann would say)
Firstly I would like to congratulate all U17 Campbelltown City Team and coach for a job well done.
We have proven to be the most consistant U17 team this year and the BEST defence in the league (14 goals against).
In 2003 this team was sitting near bottom of the table in u13b division.
In 2004 the same team finished second to Metro in U14b division and were promoted to the U15a division for 2005.
In 2005 these kids had to lift to the next level in order to be competitive in the A division, and that they did by finishing equal 4th with Modbury.
In 2006 90% of this team were pushed up to the U17A team and given the task of lifting to the next level yet again, and the rest as they say is history. 2006 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
We have no primadonnas, no cocky players thinking they should be playing u23s,no U19 players helping us out for big games, we just have a great group of boys with a great attitude and desire to improve each game.

I said Cambeltown did well to win the season, we probably did have a better team than them but we were more individual at times and this hurt us, we gave away stupid goals which probably cost us the league, welldone cambeltown you were the most consistent team out there this year, gratz on winning the season.

Surely you dont have anything nasty to say about this comment

strikerzebra sometimes your responses show you are mature sometimes imature.Ive seen you play and you are a very skillful and technical player, but attitude off the pitch is brought on the pitch.Thats where a coach should be see problems and harness all talent available and make a great team.Seeing all teams play this season coaches award would go to either CCSC or Para Hills coach. You had a quality side U19 and 17 coaches dubios. In saying that saw your team play on five occasions and would have to say you would have to be a top three player in your side.Congrats on a good season.

congrats to campbelltown. city need to stop whinging about panthers playin dirty and all that and focus on the business at hand. your strikers got frustrated and couldnt finish from 6 yards out. 3 times i counted anyway. it took a last minute defensive lapse to get a draw off us. oh well better luck next year. congrats campbelltown FC

Well done to all involved in the U/17's this year, a last week title decider is a testament to the spread of teams and talent in the competition.
