Feyenoord 1 Philips Sport Vereniging 0

Everything went wrong for Feyenoord - players injured and forced substitutions, but they managed to pluck a goal out from somewhere. Psv dropping points means that should AZ win tonight Psv will have their title mathmatically taken away from them. Realistically though they lost it ages ago. Lazovic missed several chances which in the proved costly. Stand in keeper for Feyenoord did brilliantly.

Alkmaar drop points as Twente and Ajax narrow the gap. They meet 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed teams in their last three games but more than likely will have the title wrapped up by then. Had to giggle at the Gronigen red card... surely a you tube moment. The guilty player also said in the post match interview he acted before he thought and the referee was right to send him off.

AZ keep on winning.

Interesting to hear that Roda intend to merge with Fortuna Sittard to become Sporting Limburg. How do mergers work in the Netherlands? In England should two clubs merge they have to play in the lowest division of the two to prevent someone trying to buy their club up the divisions.

they will be in second div the commentators said, and anyway looks like Roda are going down anyways, fans very upset, throwing chairs on the pitch during last 5 mins to show there discontent, this is a team with a proud history and a team that has challenged the big clubs in the past, will be sad to see them go...

Like the commentator said it's highly unlikely they'll want to support the new team.

the merger of both clubs has been cancelled, the provincial government has also pulled out from giving them a big cash injection

this is starting to become a soap opera

FT NAC Breda 0 - 1 AZ Alkmaar

AZ played terrible but still came away with the 3 points... they are the best team in the league

1 more point away from being champions (unless twente or ajax drop points this weekend)

Somebody one asked if I could spare some change for gas, I could really get away from this place.
I said yep, what a concept! I could use a little fuel myself and we could all use a little change.
