Hi there,

It will be our first season.. Sunday 3pm Div 6.. We might be in Div 9 - not 100%
We are a new team who basically went to the Saint Augustines Soccer Club and asked them if we could enter a team at their club.
The club was kind enough to allow us. Since they already had a seniors team at the club there are now Saints Blacks and Saints Blues...

We are an Australian Club..
if you are referring to the Blues players.. about 95% have Greek backgrounds.
half the team consists of players who used to play Cs @ Florina.

you da man sacred!

a better performance for us yesterday (in parts) than other trials weve played so far, but with players missing its still hard to get a settled feel to the line-up

hopefully everything can be resolved for this weeks first match of the season

Good effort today fellas in tough conditions, I though that we should have gotten a little more out of the game for our effort but it was a reasonably solid start. With a few boys coming back into the sqaud in the next coming weeks we will have a good nucleus of players available to carry us through the long season ahead. Lets make sure we get as many heads out to training this week to improve on our building fitness.

after 8 weeks of pre season and a few trials it was good to finally get the season under way yesterday.

It was a hard pitch to play on, and the weather made it even more difficult but the way we performed showed that theres some positive signs for us this season.

overall i think it was a fair result, but i cant remember our keeper making any saves. It was a well played contest though with both teams fighting to the end.

our interplay at some stages of the match was excellent, and it was just a shame we couldnt create a few more chances.

looking forward to another good week on the track then vista next sunday

i love how no-one has tipped us against modbury vista

no doubt it will be a tough game, especially after Vista's good win last week, but we have always done ok at Vistas ground and will be hoping to continue that on Sunday

hopefully the B's can get their season going aswell

whats even better though is being able to get home in time to watch most of the Port game live!!

Definitely!

Shame i'll be in Melbourne, missing the game against the Raptors + Navarino, but at least I'll get to see the BLUES!

A's: Vista 3 v Raptors 0

Cant begin to explain the disappointment after yesterday. Not so much the result (though copping 3 to a team that hadnt beaten us before was hard), but the overall performance of the side.

We just didnt seem to want it enough. No real chances created, little creativity through the midfield, and some bad defensive lapses equalled to a bad day out out for Raptors. Havent played in a disappointing game like that in a while. Though some credit must go to Vista for the way they played. Closed our players down early and were more desperate and committed where it counted - definately deserving of the win.

With the break coming up, it should give us a chance to re-group, get some players back to fitness and set up an important clash against the Vikings - gotta get that first win

Also congrats to the B's on their first win of the season. Hopefully its the first of many

thought i would just say thanks for the praise and for the game yesterday, you guys have definitely had the wood over us for years, hence why is was such an awesome win for us. we consider you guys as div1 capable and a massive threat. all games played against each other are played in great spirits and however very physcial, but fair, good luck for the year guys and hopefully you guys can bounce back and be up the top end, just like years gone by
You go on the p*ss all day, you've ballooned out like the Pillsbury Doughboy!
You could go to jail for this! What sort of system am I going to play then? Three across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville? *Mike Basset*

our games against vista are always played fairly and we look forward to another good one in round 2. all the best
