you won't get cesc or kaka. end of storyHala Madrid wrote:If we lure either the likes of Ronaldo, Kaka, Ribery or Cesc then it's definitely best for his career to move.
The biggest loser out of Ramos' appointment as coach. Guti as well but not as bad.

I'm sure these players will realise that Real Madrid is in a state of transition...quite a successful state of transition I might add as well. The fact of the matter is, big players know that Real Madrid is a big team and it won't be long before we hoist big ears once again.totsreds08 wrote:i am sure all these players want to do well in europe. they won't go to real

No superstar in our modern day football is going to turn down the opportunity to play for the biggest club in the world alongside other superstars. It's a spectacle that cannot be achieved at any other club (while Perez is in charge anyway) Just ask Beckham, Owen, Ronaldo, Figo, Zidane, etc.

Can you explain to me how AT THE MOMENT Real Madrid are supposed to be the biggest club in the world.
They may have lots of cash, but they are a basket case at the moment.

Re: van der vaart to Real Madrid
We will always be the biggest club in the world. Not only because of the greatest European success in club football history, but also because of the Galactigo Era that defined the word 'spectacle' in football. You may think Man Utd or whoever else, but when it comes down to it... You ask Europe, and the world - they'll say Real Madrid, you ask England they'll say Man Utd. Simple.
and to prove my point, that this will return...
“I'd do it all again. I believe in emotions and spectacle, and without this magic it wouldn't be Madrid.
Thanks to this philosophy I left the club the richest in the world.”
- Florentino Perez

Not the word that comes to mind for most, I agree with Figo and define the Galactico era with the word "circus"Hala Madrid wrote:We will always be the biggest club in the world. I don't like lies. I have understood your market where sometimes lies sell more than truth. This is your life and I don't like it. I understand your work and I have to work with you, but the protection of my group is much more important than you

That circus is gone pal.
No point having money when you waste it on payouts to coaches that win you titles.
You are delusional.

Are you still referring to the Perez circus? Trophy haul during that period wasn't that impressive. Figo himself has bagged the era as a circus that had nothing to do with football.
why do I botherHala Madrid wrote:guess so, i mean we've already won 9 Champions League titles - most recent 2000.

Re: van der vaart to Real Madrid
And how does that have anything to do with it - you're club is a circus - sports director that doesnt know his left nut from his right, a president who stepped down for rigging votes and a team that was walloped by Liverpool and for all intents and purposes is that far behind Barca in all aspects its not funny.Hala Madrid wrote:doesn't matter what you have to say on this topic pal

And how many have you won when football was not played on a black and white TV - in the 50's football was rubbish mate and everyone knows it.Hala Madrid wrote:guess so, i mean we've already won 9 Champions League titles - most recent 2000. just won back-to-back La Liga's. No wonder everyone hates Real, c*cksuker supporters like you.
I have an inane amount of respect for Raul - legend, Hierro and Sanchis another two - but the rest are bought to sell shirts and you know it.
How on earth could you sack capello twice in ten years after two championships and then schuster 6 months after winning one.
laughing stock mate - be prepared to live in Barca's shadow for the next ten years while Messi runs the show.

Re: van der vaart to Real Madrid
why do you refer to titles that you have one decades and decades ago. you can have your history but at the moment, your club is a joke. buy all the players you need but there are clubs who spend a quarter of what you do and are more succesful. real madrid are a jokeHala Madrid wrote:guess so, i mean we've already won 9 Champions League titles - most recent 2000. just won back-to-back La Liga's. Re: van der vaart to Real Madrid
I feel I have to step in here for a moment...
Anyway as for the call about mercenaries...I'd hardly say Zidane was a mercenary after all he did retire at Real Madrid, his children play at Real Madrid and he could be the new sporting director next season. Figo was the best player in the world when he was signed, ditto Ronaldo and Zidane and certainly Beckham was one of the best in the world at the time he was signed, so while yes, they were brought in to sell shirts, they were also brought in to win titles with stylish classy football.
That is a beautiful photo by the way, never again do I think it's possible for a team to have so many footballers of such amazing quality on the one team at one time. Truly one of the most beautiful teams to watch in the history of football.
dude come on, i'd like some credibility for Real Madrid, while there's still credibility to be had...our last Champions League title was 2002!Hala Madrid wrote:guess so, i mean we've already won 9 Champions League titles - most recent 2000. just won back-to-back La Liga's.
