Played at Windsor Gardens about 3 years ago. In my last year there we got to the final of the friday comp and lost.
Well run and generally trouble free.

Re: Windsor Gardens ICA
I played there for a few seasons and i thought it was well run. Marco the bloke who ran it at the time, and the ref Nick, were both great blokes too.
I found it alot more fun than Findon, as the court is bigger, and you can actually tackle from behind ( IE: kick the ball out from between peoples legs, which is apparently dangerous at Findon, and is a foul...)
That and there arent wooden walls, so it's alot safer when running down the wing.
Probably the best rebound venue i have played at.

When I played at Findon I couldn't believe that rule, if that is a proper futsal rule the the game is wayyyyy too soft, and no I'm not talking about hacks from behind, just kicking the ball away if someone is not skilled enough to protect the ball......Big diffeence

I think kicking between peoples legs is outlawed in all levels of the game, as is tackling from behind.bored wrote:Quote: "found it alot more fun than Findon, as the court is bigger, and you can actually tackle from behind ( IE: kick the ball out from between peoples legs, which is apparently dangerous at Findon, and is a foul...)"
Re: Windsor Gardens ICA
I think your wrong!!
it's all about how the rule is applied.....by your theory you could just back the ball into the goals....Idiot

What do you mean by kicking through someones legs? Nutmegging a player or physically putting you feet between theirs?

I mean ( my old username is GM22, but i can't login to it for some reason).
If a player is shielding the ball, you aren't allowed to poke the ball out from between there legs, it means a player can stand against your body without proper shape, and you still can't touch the ball. It breeds a game where you can just run backwards with the ball and no one can touch it.
I find it the most frustrating thing in the world, it takes all of the pressure off the man with the ball, cause he can just turn around and take all day with it, and there is nothing you can do about it other than wait.
if they outlawed nutmegging, i'd never get around anyone
