interesting that many have gone for the farm against the downs away
that may be disrespectful to bert and his happy warriors.
I think they will still be a force to be reckoned with this season
never push a wounded animal, they tend to bite hard.

Also nice to see the vista boys pushing up their chances against munno para
well i saw the first half of the para a's against the farm and I think they will be a difficult team to beat this year
and will cause many teams to rethink how they approach their games, vista on the other hand
have got nothing new to shout about, they had a great result against the farm but I dont
think they will avoid relegation this season, too many of the same old faces, and if they havent dragged them up
yet what makes you think they are gonna do it this year?
Gully on the other hand look very promising, I watched their second half on sunday and thought they looked good
I'm expecting big things at tilley reserve this season.

Fulham 1 - 0 Fulham to spring first surprise for year. With few injuries and suspensions to parafield, fulham to sneak in. Still think parafield with all players back, will be challenging for title. Sorry Haywooddjablowme.
Florina 3-1 - we haven't had the best pre season form, but then again i haven't been playing either or not fully fit & playing redders, don't think that one man can win anything in this league, u still need the other 13 players in the squad to perform too. Vale also haven't had the pre season form and with the loss of many players i still expect them to be as hard as they were last year. But i'm always going to pick my team ahead of any other. Hope u break a leg brooksy Good luck mate, only joking about break a leg part.
Draw - Pontion/Lion 1-1 Have not heard nothin here. Both teams sneaking under the radar hence me picking draw.
Para West - 2-0 To young and fit for Inter, especially after getting killed by the grove, but pre season counts for nothing and points always changes the mind set. really hope inter get the points as we play them the week after and will be easier to beat if they win this week. Good luck robin friday.
Farm 3-2 Farm got good players and pretty much retained the same standard squad as last year, downs losing a few, but points up for grabs and i think downs will take a few to get going.

No we didn't lose, I think the final score was 7-2. Considering that florina were very short in numbers that night, and even C players on the park I wouldn't think that it is a good indication as to how we will play against Vale. A closer indication would be how we played on Sunday, when more of the regular A team were back (still 3-4 to come in though) and we beat Brahma Lodge 5-0.

As for Azza, he played his part in both games, laying off some great balls to set up some of the goals, and scoring a cracker against Brahma from about 35 yards out.

You cannot read anything into pre season games as most coaches are still experimenting with diff players in diff positions. A good indication will be after this week, and from Florina's point of view I am sure we are all happy to pull the current reigning champions in the first game, that will give us a clear indication as to where we stand, and where we will need to improve.
