Why are Budapest a certainty to go down?
Div 2 will be the same as most years, the team that can keep thier first 11 together for most of the season will win the title. Villa or Comets to win? looking at pre-season results i would say Iggies should be favourite.
The time for talk is almost over.

In my humble opinion, the teams to be promoted are the ones who end up with the most points, and the teams to be relegated are those that end up with the least points.

Well at least it makes as much sense as predicting from now.

From what i know, many teams in div 2 have had an overhaul of their playing roster and will be very hard to pick.

They weren't terribly impressive last year when we played them and i was shocked when they stayed up.If they haven't added to their squad,i can see them having a very torrid time in div 2.I honestly can't see them beating any of the other teams bar Monarchs(and maybe breakers at home).Let's face it,they rely too much on zelko's goals(gun player imo) and he ain't gettin younger.Let's see if they can prove me wrong.And yes,you are right about Iggies,i think they will be right up there,just forgot to mention them in my initial post.So it will be a 3 horse race.Can't wait for the season!!!bring it on!!!

Have to disagree. We have played the Vipers aswell as Budapest. Sorry to say this but I think Budapest are a slightly better team. Much more skillful, not as quick but play in bursts. They have improved on last year and apparently they had a couple of players unavailable on Saturday...... but I rate both teams. I think the Vipers will do well aswell. This division will be a lot closer than you guys think..... your just lucky the Cougars arent in div 2 this year.... you might be in trouble otherwise.....

We played the comets a few weeks ago and out played them and we were missing a couple of our super stars.
They have too many oldtimers who think they can still play the game.

As for the FC just look at their trail games with Vipers and the Saints making them look like a bunch of scrubbers.
