Totti a few people have been complaining but as they say if you cant handle the heat get out of the kitchen, pre season defintely has been harder this year but div 2 is a big step up from div 3 so to be competitive this year a big pre season is a must, we have plenty of players anyway so if people leave so be it, but i bet the guys who probably are complaining are reserve players anyway.

RE: Port Pirie trip.

Norwood Soccer Team was beating on Saturday, the players should be given a thumbs up as it was the real first hit out for the year and Port Pirie were alot fitter and very lucky with 2 goals that were well put away but a very lucky.

It was a long trip and Norwood did get some injuries but the players soldied on, all players fantastic effort you should be proud of yourself.

We didn't have all our stars and we went down with a fight.

The year has started.

Windsor Gardens are reigning champions - and with Frank Sergi in goals will hardly concede.
Good luck, but Windsor are my tip this year.

havent heard much of late, what is happening with the new and improved Norwood?

Norwood have rebuilt a solid foundation for a good year on & off the park. The teams are strong, good club vibe & looking at making a decent crack at it in both teams. Taking nothing for granted there are good teams in Div 3 & 4 which will make us earn every point, that said expectations are high with the players, coaches & mindset we have.
