munno para won both.

As 8-1
Bs 15-0

A's was a pretty scrappy first half going into HT 2-1. then para come out in the second half with their tails up a little. wasnt the best performance, but trials are trials.

Interesting result in lead up to Saturday's...
Farm beat West Beach couple weeks ago and Wanderers beat the beach today also in their first hit out for 2009!

Good luck to the beach lads for the season - well in today!

Good result for the Saints today. Held out Inters quick forwards well. I think that Inter had a fair amount of the play but didnt really even get a shot on Goal?? They are a solid team that I will predict will finish in the top 4. Good luck to the inter boys.....

Wanderers up 2-0 before rotating the squads at half time to give a few of the boys a run, tough to play in the windy, wet conditions with no lines marked out down at Grange - strange...

Very poor from the people down at Grange, not marking a pitch. Markings were visible on the other pitch (but had not been done recently) but that overlapped with the cricket game happening.

I presume the A's ref refused to ref your game as well, I don't blame the B's guy for refusing.

Salisbury Florina Vs Tea Tree Gully

A's 4-1 to Tea Tree Gully
B's 4-0 to Florina

Florina C's Vs Virginia A's
4-1 to Florina

Great results for very understrength B's & C's for Florina, still some work to be done with the A's, but I am sure Azza with have them into shape by season start.

We played underlights on Friday pitch had been marked. Have to push goals in for cricket sat/sun. What pitch did you play on? The SAASL has been slack, the council is supposed to mark the pitch this season with the SAASL following it up. But we have had to mark the ground preseason because it has not been done by the council.

C's finished 4-3 to the Grove, we got a couple of late ones, but couldnt grab the equaliser. thanks again for the 2nd hit out now from the Grove, playing them again next week too.

The A's & B's played on the pitch on the corner of trimmer and military. We used the one at a right angle to trimmer parade.

Do what you like in the C's and B's your first team were slow, 2nd to the ball, undisciplined and are in trouble, Azza doesnt need to get them into shape they need to listen and learn from him.

Maybe all the Greek teams in div2 will finish bottom with all those souvlakia and other healthy foods that are going to be absorbed this season. Oh by the way, you guys will be meeting the Hawks, they are in div 3 as well.
YES! You are right... we will play the Hawks this year.... have had some interesting games with them in the past  . This year though, they probably wont recognise many of the faces in our squad.

Again, thanks for the run VIPERS. For a young club like yourselves to be established so early on in your history deserves a big pat on the back.... GOOD LUCK!

What's going on with SAASF, surely they have to take some responsibility here

As mentioned on other topics it's not that they don't havet he money to pay someone to mark all the pitches and have to rely on the council, what other clubs rely on the council to mark their pitch :?:

If they have this money surely they could upgrade the playing facilities down there and make the League's Headquarters something the clubs look forward to visiting rather than the unorganised and sub standard facilities (pitch, marking of the pitch, nets, lick of paint on the goals, bbq, bar).

 Whilst i'm happy the SAASF has money in the bank surely they can afford to spend a bit of it for the benefit of the game.

There are three clubs that use the pitches at Grange. SAASL told us we would all pay an even amount and the council would mark the pitches. So far we have had to mark our own pitch as we have in previous years, its just this year it has all changed because the bloke who used to do it doesnt anymore.

I would stress your grievances, as we have done, to the SAASL so they might actually do something about it.

We had the same yesterday. I see they don't call it the Grange wind tunnel for nothing. I couldn't believe there was no lines but we played anyway.

Not having a go at you or your club redders but surely the SAASL should set the standards for other clubs to follow as the rest of us have our pitches clearly marked and i'd say we would be fined by them if we didn't.

It's all good I know you weren't. Its pretty frustrating when they promise to do it and it hasn't been done. We went past Thursday(for Friday game) to make sure everything's OK and it wasn't done.

OISC

As v ISC Raptors 5-0 (4-0 at HT, conditions played a big factor in the result)

Cs v ISC Raptors 1-2 (Raptors subbed 11 players at half time, which was disappointing as they cancelled on our D grade game)
Ds v West Beach Cs 1-1 (can't comment as I wasn't there)
