I've got 99 problems but the Yids ain't one.

PS: Spurs remain a quality side, I don't care what you say. The Feyernoord Jubileum Tournament doesn't win itself, you know.

Fulham playing Northern Demons Sat. Feb 27th in Pirie.

A's playing senior team and B's playing Demons Reserves.

Should be a good hit out for Fulham and a big piss up Sat. night.

Hopefully Vigilante and Ga Pala can handle the pace on Sat. night. :D

Munno Para A's 2 Mod Vista 2
Munno Para B's 2 Mod Vista 3
Munno Para C's 2 Mod Vista 1

Can only really comment on the A's, vista were 2 nil up, then 2-2, then the ref blew his whistle. nothing much else really happened.
You go on the p*ss all day, you've ballooned out like the Pillsbury Doughboy!
You could go to jail for this! What sort of system am I going to play then? Three across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville? *Mike Basset*

!st Team

Northern Demons 2 - Fulham 2

Reserves

Demons won 4-1 I think the final score was but the Fulham B's did have an undermanned team as 6 or 7 players could not travel for the game.

Good hitout for the teams.

Great hospitality shown by the Demons - put on a great feed after the game in the club rooms before the team was unleashed onto the town.

Some serious team bonding on the Sat. nite - lucky some of the older guys were there to keep some of the young lads in check - or was it the other way around????

Ga Pala, Vigilante and R.T.F were in fine form on Sat. night and was good to c.

Hopefully we will c the Demons down next year.

Farm 1 - West Beach 0

The beach will do very well this year. They've picked up a lot of new players from Port Lion and one lad who has been playing semi-pro in Germany.

Not sure about the C's Game as I wasn't there for it but the other two were interesting to say the least.

A's:
Munno Para: 2
Modbury Vista: 2

A game of 2 halves with Vista playing very good looking football displaying pleanty of effective one touch moves which in turn allowed them to use the ball and reserve fitness. In turn a well worked move down the left hand side resulted in a goal to put Vista up 1 - 0.
In the second half it was a different story Vista resorted to their long ball tactic and Munno para were able to keep the play in Vista's half until a quick break saw Vista take a 2 - 0 lead. After squandering numerous "half chances" with poor crossing and positioning Munno Para then worked the ball nicely to produce a lifeline bringing them back in to the game at 2 - 1. Vista then playing the 1 touch football that put them 2 goals up created several chances that they were unlucky not to convert. Munno Para were able to catch Vista on the break and "tired" legs from vista allowed players to sneak in behind what looked like a "make-shift" sweeper position to convert what would have been maybe their 4th or 5th chance of the game.

B's:
Modbury Vista 2
Munno Para 3

In what could be mistaken as a Colts game (no disrespect) of the 22 players that took the field there was an average age of about 18. A very scrappy game to say the least with poorly time challenges and adventageous shots made for a very interesting game to the neutral on lookers. I doubt both coaches would agree as their teams time and time again played their way into trouble and made simple errors leading to the goals. In a game with two penalties there really wasn't anything or anyone who stood out with almost every player on the park making one or two schoolboy errors. All in all not a bad hitout for the two sides and after seeing the TTG, Munno Para and Modbury Vista B sides it could be a very youthful Sunday Div 2 B Grade year in 09.
