Adelaide Cougars FC are pleased to announce the appointment of a new coach for season 2009. Dom Ceravolo (Bomber) will coach our first team this year. He is a coach with plenty of experience on and off the field and also knows how to have a good time. I am sure that he will create a good vibrancy down at the club.

As mentioned in a previous thread, we are a club that has had many ups and downs. We are down at the moment but definitely not out. We will give Saturday Div 3 a good shake in 2009 and hope to get straight back up to Div 2 for 2010.

If you are even slightly interested in coming out for a run this year, please pm me!!!!

Considering the forty degree night, had a great turn out for our first training session of the year. Things are looking very positive at the club this year. Should be a promising 2009.

Where: Findon High School

When: Every Tuesday and Thursday

Time: 6:45 sharp

Bring: Runners and boots (have already started ball work)

Anyone keen on a change of atmosphere or you are simply looking at having a run in the amatuer league should give us a go. We will be competing in the Saturday Division 3 league this year but hope to turn it around from our dismall performance last year.

We have recognised all these issues and are taking positive steps this year to turn it around, as mentioned by the last couple of replys. They actually think about what they are writing.
As for you tough boy, introduce yourself at our next game and tell us to our faces that we belong in Glenside.... It is very easy to abuse when you are hiding behind a username.

Was a good hit out between the two teams. First 2- minutes was all Cougars with one way traffic to the goals and the our (uni) defense barely clearing the ball out. After 20 mins or so we were a bit more settled at the back and managed to launch a few of our own attacks but you guys were better in midfield I felt, so we weren't really getting the service to our strikers. and a lot of the times it was a straight hoof from our defense to your players. Played in the right spirit tho, there were no issues really from eitehr team, no horrible tackles at all. All in all a good hit out.

PS I was orange boots in the back line

Antonelli will make a cameo appearance hear and there. Unfortunately has bad knees and loves his beer. Not a good combination in my opinion....

As for Ross, yes that is the one. Him aswell as a few of his mates from RBE have come out this year, including Dion M. Looking great guns for us this year. Will be very much a protected specie for us. Anyone touches him better be wearing good shin pads
