Can someone remind me why this guy is considered good?

"You obviously dont know anything about football if you think he isn't good" probably isn't going to help me understand why he is rated either

I dont watch every Roma game so this is a genuine question

You watch 3 Roma games and I guarantee you that you'd consider him decent.

Had a rare off game this morning.

But made up for it last week for stopping someone 1 v 1 with only the keeper to go.

You know whats funny Ronaldo you twat? Ferguson actually went hard in the market for Mexes and he chose Roma.

Anyway, I reckon he is ok, has his bad days, but overall he is good.

Mexes looked half decent when he had Chivu to clean up his mistakes, since then the guy just gives away fouls for fun. BTW i wathced the roma game and i knew he was gonna give away a penalty, you could just see he was gonna mess it up. And yes he would be a great defender in the EPL, not good enough for a top Serie a team :wink:

Mexes had a bad day at the office we all have them.

When he is on form he is a very good defender and last year his form was very very good! With loria by his side he looked shaky against arsenal cos loria isn't that good, when him and juan play together they compliment each other and look a more solid unit!

as for all you lazio supporters he is better than any centre back u have!
