Or a 24 year break ? I must be nuts, played for 3 teams at the same time during most of my teenage years (+school and rep) , suffered a massive burnout ...

Still the ankle is the only casualty from day 1 training....

First training in 14 years tonight (not 13 as I had thought), and I could still walk afterwards.
Like Rodent said, if all I do is lose the 15-20 kilo that I want to then it will all be worthwhile.

I'll wait and see on that one, might just look at refereeing, then again......

Communication breakdown....turned up to training 2 only to find a trial game in progress....

Did the weather forecast have anything to do with it?

I was told tonight that icebaths were excellent for recovery...something like ice bath for 5 minutes, warm shower...ice bath etc.
I think a dip in the morning sea would work similar miracles !
I've trained, but I have yet to pull the gloves on.

The povman is fading away, down to 103.2 kgs, my own personal goal is to make it on the park just once, anything more is a bonus , the 5.7kgs I have lost is probably a bigger bonus :) , weight wise I would love to trim down to 90kgs, it is going to get harder but I am up for it...
