Which part isn't true "needplayers"?needplayers wrote:PunkFarker
what you have said is not true.SO DON"T.I can't comment on the coach or the club).
Adelaide City
I gave an honest asessment of what I have seen over the years at many clubs, including your's.
The team will be good, as expected from all AC teams, but there is no gurantee to play ALL players.
It happens everywhere! I've seen it down to U13 level - it's a shame!
I don't know who the coaches are for the U17 or U16's, so I cannot comment. I don't know what goes on inside the club, so I cannot comment. BUT I CAN comment on what I have observed over the years, and I'm getting a picture of your character just from your replies. So if you don't want more crap then DON"T SHOUT at an honest response. Good luck with your recruiting

An interesting side note to this U17 age group issue, my E&D club has picked up 5 ex Fed players who want to just play for fun with their mates, maybe the serious nature and win at all costs burns out some kids, or maybe they were the ones sitting on the bench week in week out, who knows. And to be honest who cares, as long as they have somewhere to play and are not lost to the game, that is the main thing. Just thought I would point out another reason why some of the Fed clubs are struggling for players at this age group.

I agree povman and when some clubs require 3 nights of training a week for under 16/17's gets a bit much with their school work as well.... important years year10 year11 at school

And those kids will be the future amateur players at your club and not lost to the sport...
