Bosna Adelaide
There has been word going around that Bosna Adelaide this year will not be putting in a team. Anyone heard otherwise?

Re: Bosna Adelaide
That'd be a shame. They had the biggest crowd I saw last season (cup tie v one of the Elizabeth clubs).
Re: Bosna Adelaide
Yes it would be a shame, I have heard this from a few people. Just trying to see if this is true, or just some people trying to make the team look bad.

News to me.
I'm sure they'll be around...but if not, who do you reckon their players would play for instead, Croatia or Beograd?

The word is that most of their players have gone to Olympic. If I did know first hand, then I would not be asking.

Olympic really are desperate for players...Zafa weaving his magic, offering their decent players big $'s to make the switch I'm sure.B-Boy wrote:The word is that most of their players have gone to Olympic. If I did know first hand, then I would not be asking.
Surprised he hasn't gone back to his old club beograd to get some players also, turn Olympic into the modern day JUST. No doubt the bosanci would support this club if Bosna were not to exist.

Surely he didnt offer them big $$$. No disrepect to them, I saw them play last year and they had a couple of guys who weren't to bad but not really at the Premier League standard.Hosovac wrote:Olympic really are desperate for players...Zafa weaving his magic, offering their decent players big $'s to make the switch I'm sure.B-Boy wrote:The word is that most of their players have gone to Olympic. My all time favourite is the "Bosnian Marka"?
6MDM, can you get anything for krajina's currency in republic of srpska? Serious question...
Re: Bosna Adelaide
Why not, he's promised every man and his dog big $'s to go out there. I'd say they're struggling for reserve and U/19 players also...if he hasn't promised them $'s, then perhaps the opportunity to play PL?Jay Walking wrote:Surely he didnt offer them big $$$. I was approached, but unfortunately had to decline. He was only offering $5 million dollars.Hosovac wrote:Why not, he's promised every man and his dog big $'s to go out there. Re: Bosna Adelaide
there was a bucks night a while ago where the invitation had $50 (or 10,000,000 dinara).
i looked on ebay at the time to pay with dinare as a joke, but it would have cost me double to pay with dinare.

Marge, don't discourage the boy! Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals! Except the weasel.
Re: Bosna Adelaide
We have lost a few players to Olympic, campbelltown, azzuri and N.A.B. we have not started training but the boys have been playing. There should be a team this year but it will be a +30's team compared to the under 19 side last year.bempti mater wrote:Kman,
whats the story? Is this fact or fiction?

Im sure the club will have a side this season. There is a general meeting with in the next couple of weeks to organise a new commity ect.
Bosna will still be around for season 09 perhaps a merger with Black Eagles is on the cards

Theres a kurdish team in div 10 or something. Their number is in the year book.
Re: Bosna Adelaide
Good luck getting the Black Eagles players. Personally I think it would be good for you guys, we enjoyed playing them. No real incidents and they were good games.
It wouldnt be any fun playing a dads army team.
