Re: question
With the FFSA refusing to talk to the SAASL it could be easier to play for both competitions. The SAASL doesn't recognize dual registration but if they tried to check with the FFSA on the eligibility of a player they will not get ANY sort of response... that's how pig headed FFSA are being.Bodø Glimt wrote:No I don't think so. I think the SAASL doesn't recognize dual registration.
So my guess is that the SAASL could say something along the lines of this... "we have no (and can't get any) official documentation to prove you are playing Federation, so yes, you can register with an amateur league club".
Makes for interesting times I think!!

Re: question
Well put, however still not worth getting your team fined and relegated..... No, is the honest answer you cannot play both.gunner_59 wrote:With the FFSA refusing to talk to the SAASL it could be easier to play for both competitions. Re: question
There were quite a few dual registration cases in Saturday Div 3 last year. I'm not privy to the last one, because I was playing Div 1 reserves, but as I understand it, only one club got punished (with the reversal of a result) and the other two were swept under the table / ignored.imanoutlaw wrote:Well put, however still not worth getting your team fined and relegated..... Re: question
To answer the original querion in this thread: no, the SAASL does not permit dual registrations. Same with the CSL.
(And please don't anyone go on here about what happened to them last year in Saturday Division 3 because whether it was right or wrong, it's done and OVER. Move on.)

Re: question
Yes this would be correct. I think pherhaps it was due to the way they where handled and evidence provided.Kitchimo wrote: There were quite a few dual registration cases in Saturday Div 3 last year.
