LOL !!
and if kuyt has no end product, how can he be the top 2 scorers for liverpool this season ??

liverpool fans just jumped on the hate-kuyt-bandwagon !!
noone has jumped on a bandwagon of that sort, everyone has always known kuyt is cabernet.

Or did he drift into the middle and receive a pass from somebody else and lay a short pass off to a player who just happens to score?

Yes because the only way to assist somebody is by crossing the ball
so he must create chances then?
If you play as many minutes on the field as Kuyt has (god only knows why) you're bound to create some chances.

it doesn't really matter to me, if he's creating chances with crosses or through balls, i like a player who will defend from the top, create chances and score. you've obviously got it in for the bloke because even if he was leading our assist charts last season, you still think he does nothing

if other players were good enough, they'd play as much as kuyt too, but obviously they don't bring to the table what rafa wants i.e. not good enough

kuyt has been with liverpool for 4 seasons? not too sure. it has taken him this long to become okay. look at other teams in the big 4. do they have someone like kuyt? no..most players they have are actually good. we need a natural winger.

Park Ji-Sung
Emannuel Eboue
Malouda (greanted he isn't a work horse, is just garbage and runs around a lot)

all the big 4 teams have them... on the contrary.

are you the same bloke who said Lucas should replace Alonso at the start of the season? would not suprise me.

1) eboue and malouda and sung are bench warmers not regular starters. eboue is also been linked with inter. he can't be that bad
2) haven't said anything about evra being right wing :?
3) after watching a few of lucas' performances last year i thought he was world class. i am wrong. i also didn't think alonso wasn't that important. but i realise that alonso is as vital as gerrard and torres to us playing good and lucas has a crap first touch and won't be as good as alonso

A player that works his ass off but isn't up to scratch.

his natural position is a striker. he isn't pacey nor skillful enough to be a winger

FYI... Park Ji Sung started against CHELSEA. Malouda has started most times when he is fit, and Eboue was a regular last season when Assnal were flying.

Granted Kuyt had a stinker against Stoke, but then again so did everyone else... Gerrard was only interested in telling his team mates off for not giving him the perfect ball and Lucas's first touch resembeled a short pass into space.

his natural position is a striker. he isn't pacey nor skillful enough to be a winger
so he's a player being played out of position?

I'm a massive fan of Dirk Kuyt and even with my bias i cant help but feeling annoyed that this club is playing him as a solo striker...I mean his work rate is great and he is not as bad as poeple are saying but he is a bit player, we need a real right winger someone who hugs the touchline and doesnt constantly cut in. But untill we have one i dont think we should play Pennant over Kuyt simply because Pennant does not love the shirt, he plays for the money not the team, find me another foreign player who loves the shirt as much as Kuyt and is as good or better on the right wing or in the supporting striker role and i would'nt think twice about benching Kuyt.

YNWA.

p.s callum if you use "great grammar mate" or "is english your first language" as your counter arguement i'll kill u

It's 'argument' mate.

Sorry..couldn't resist. I'm glad you want a new RM in place of Kuyt. But give Jermaine a break..His mothers a prostitute and his dads in jail for drug dealing..He's had it rough

hahaha reminds me of a great quote Antonio Cassano pulled when he moved from Bari to riomma scum for a hefty sum as a teenager, his first comment to reporters when asked how he felt about the move... "I am happy now I have made this move, my mum does not have to work in the br0thel anymore"

either way, Jermiane Pennant was the biggest waste of 6.7mil pounds you could ever want to spend on a right midfielder. he deseves no breaks, he belongs to a Stoke or a Hull City.

Palacios or Valencia from Wigan look the goods. Ribery would be the dream for the right side of midfield... even Simao looks good, he is a very strong player on the ball as well as pace, suited very much to the EPL. Kuyt deifnately isn't the solution, a great squad player, but not the solution... although Rafa sees him that way and with our current squad he is a better choice than any.

Haha that's gold. Can't imagine why you'd come right out and say that..I'd keep that as hushed up as possible..
