Baggio is my favorite soccer player, he had the heart the skill and the love of all fans. A true legend, he won't ever be forgotten, and deserves to be rated emongst the greatest of all time.

u r forza reggina aint u ??
agree with u for this one though !!
He was fantastic at Milan, Bologna and Brescia as well. At Inter he was benched too much. He could have still played longer if not for his knee problems.
Pity he didnt get a proper run with the national team we could be on five world cups......1998 he always came off the bench. i think i he started all the games we would've gone all the way

Big Call!!! I think the team of '98 was good, but not as good as the team of 2006...
anyway, Roberto Baggio is a god... he might not have been recognised as the best player in the world next to Maradona and Pele, nor won a world cup... but he is a footballing god!!! No one looked as good as him on the ball, not did anyone make it look as easy to score as he did!!!
I think its funny and sad how players I used to hate and think we aboslute garbage (who proved me wrong with the world cup victory) such as Camornesi, Totti and Iaquinta can now call themselves world champions, yet Baggio can't... it actually makes me sad, it was the first thing I thought about after I stopped screaming with hapiness when we won...
Totti didn't play his best, but he scored one and directly assisted 3 goals in his 4/5 appearances... not the best, well not Baggio standard, but who was better?? Certainly not say Rooney, who didn't score, didn't set-up and obvioously doesnt have a medal saying... WORLD CHAMPION

anyhow, i never rate him at all ...
Cassano > Totti anyday !!
Yea probably cos you didnt watch the Italy games, he set-up Zambrotta, Toni and Pirlo directly, as well as giving that ball to Gilardino, who set-up Del Piero!!

Eddy Baggio is a very like-able player, could be a fan favourite but has less talent than his other name sakes. Dino and Roberto were top players in their time but depending where u came from or who u barracked for you either loved them or hated them.
i dont know how some of you people can call totti crap when he over the years is at his best for roma there havnt been players better than him in
the attacking midfield role
And not many loyal like Totti, he has said he'd prefer to win 1 scudetto at Roma than 5 at Milan. And Roma don't have the money like the bigger teams so he shows a lot of heart, as he could prob get a lot more money somewhere else. Also look at what Totti did in the world cup and he had not played since February, he was not star of the tournament but he did a lot and the opposition need to be defensive to cover him and it takes opposition players out of the game. Roma fans say he is still nowhere near his best (after the injury) so this shows how good Totti is and he was the unsung hero of the world cup for Italy.
