AFPP JAN CAMP

Post by John Walker AFPP »

AFPP CAMP FEEDBACK

Hi I would like to thank all players who attended the recent AFPP camp held at the Adelaide Raiders venue.

In my mind the camp was a success for the following reasons:

1. No one was injured.
2. Players went to bed at 9pm got up at 6am and were showered changed breakfasted and ready to train by 07:25 at the latest, note we did not train till 08:00 due to food digestion issues.
3. There was no junk food on the camp and players experienced new foods which were full of nutition.
4. Everyone got to learn something new about there mates and football in general.

Note due to the support and requests camps will take place in every school holiday.

A big thanks to all the volunteers, donations of fruit and veg and special thanks to the hard working little players themselves .

See you all on Tues 4pm at the Raiders for the visit of Mr McPherson.

22 players attended the camp we had 2 girls, boys as young as 5 and as old as 17 so broad playing and experience base.

We will run more in the next school holiday and use the knowledge gained from this experimental initial camp.
