Re: best teams in the under/17 league for 2009?
Can someone explain how the Promotion / Relegation works at this level ? Some clubs have 15/16/17 teams but others don't ?
Re: best teams in the under/17 league for 2009?
adidas7 i heard u use to play for metro 16's last year
is that true????
it must be true because i looked at all ur other posts and it just u talkin about how good the metro 16's team is abd talkin them up so busted
so then u just come on here to start bragging on about metro not gonna be strong this year because u didn't get picked for them and u think u should be in that team hahaha
people like u should build a bridge and get over it
now i know u r gonna start making up and saying all these excuses to try and hide who u are. u are also gonna disagree about everything i say about you.
everything i said is true now u just got to say who u are

metro stars haven't had the best of seasons this year. they've been un-lucky in games. but as i've heard they are the only team who has taken points of para hills this season due to a draw. As the season comes to a close with 5 or so games left the u/16s at metro stars are going out on a good note. ...

Re: best teams in the under/17 league for 2009?
povman,
until this year the u17 ( & u16 if aplicable ) were based on the previous years u15 results.
as of 2009 the u15 will determine the u16 division, u16 will now determine u17 division.
I belive all clubs are required to have an u16 this year ( as last year but nothing is enforced in ffsa )
the clubs that still have no u16 group will more than likely have the 17's based on the 15's result, although I believe they should be penalised for not having a 16's by being placed in the lower division for 17's.
The ffsa have alot of rules for the competition but nothing is done to the clubs that dont comply, just blind eyes.
It states in the rules that u17's should be played on a 'fenced' pitch, and all clubs must have a fenced pitch, but there are alot of clubs that didnt last year and we still played.
Personally i think it's a case of 'do what you want, we will close our eyes, it's all OK!.

Re: best teams in the under/17 league for 2009?
stupid Birkalla
the only reason they got those players from City was becoz the 15s coach from City left and asked them to come with him coz he's a corrupt bastard
City 16s wud hav had Liam Fensom, Nicola soz dnt kno his last name
and some other winger cant remember his name
i play for city and i can say we wud win the league easily if those players stayed
no dis-respect to the players hope they do well for Birks
but the coach can find a knife and slit his wrists for all i care

How many of these so called good players trialled at Modbury?s-train wrote:ii know a few good pick ups to each side....
Metro, Alex Baxter a great, strong centrel midfieldir who wont loose anything to any1,
Stephan Cali a player who go delisted from SASI but will be lookign to make his return
through Metro still a great strong qouality player down the centre,
Cameron Brown a qucik little player that is strong for his size and knows how to use the
ball also would be a great adition to the leaderships squad for captincy
Samuel Testa a veery skillfull player down the left quite a good utility player can play
any side or down centre, he also has a great left foot and is very dangerous wen it comes
to goals also would be a great adition to the leaderships squad for captincy
Brendon Skinner a fast skillfull player down the right but needs to know when it is the
right time to use the ball but still a good pik up for metro
Para Hills, Jake bradbur a good centre mid and has a lot of body to offer, he is an all rounder
player but for me he doesnt compare to stefan cali or alex baxter from
metro
ANY BODY ELSE KNOW ANY GOOD PLAYERS FROM SIDES OR WANTS TO COMMENT ON THESE NEW PIKUPS???

Looks like a clever pick up by Birkalla
May be they left because their team mates didn’t know there names ?
You would have won the League (Bold Statement)
Wouldn’t think the coach would care much about your future also

Have you asked why the players left Adelaide City....if players choose to leave to play at a higher level and perhaps even follow a coach that they had respect for I can't see what anyone has done wrong....

umm well actually this was said in the parents group that was over heard by a child and then leaked into the team
the coach had a falling out of some sort with the City junior development about two or three of the Under 15s got moved to the 16s
and then he left to go to Birks and ASKED yes ASKED some of the more quality polayers in our squad to go with him...but not me lol nah he didnt ask me coz he didnt kno me
but that was what was said
