France teaching Italy a footballing lesson

Post by olympiakos »

Good to see the Italians are still diving as well as they did at the world cup

score is 3-1 and hopefully France score a few more to make the humiliation complete

You would hope so!!! With Donadoni though, even if we get there I dnt think we will do anything spectacular... at least with Lippi you knew the team would play with some resilance and unity and therefore provide a platform to get far in the tournament (even winning it!)... Donadoni hasn't got that capability... well not just yet anyway...

Dons will get the results, =dont forget that this team has most of the players returning to competition football after the world cup and have had maybe 1-2 training sessions.
Donadonni is a tactitian, and needs a bit of time for the players to gel, dont forget he was in the famous milan team that won champions league titles and a few scudetti as well.
have faith sonny, Italy will be there
And u have to be there to win it - so lets just qualify FIRST

That is my point, I'm pretty sure Donadoni can get us there, but I dnt think he will do much when we are there... still we want to actually get there!! Greece are now in a better position than us!!

And yea Italian players are so far behind in fitness and training its ridiculous, serie A hasn't started yet let alone they only got off break mid-August, where as the French, English and German leagues have all played 2/3/4 times during that time!! We will come good, but the French still made us look silly... although I'm sure they would have rather won their game against us...

We lost a game away to the RUNNERS UP in the world cup with 9 players from that side missing and the ones on the park yet to start the National competition after a long break.
No need to panic.
Let the French REJOCE in their win against Italy B side.
They outplayed Italy,
They outcoached Italy,
They were brilliant,
Italy were rubbish,
But you know what?
ITALY ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS mon ami!!!
Les Campion Du Monde.
So,
how about you shove that frog up your "Blatter" and enjoy your group win

Why do you keep replying to this guy?!?

Back to the topic, Italy are in trouble with only 1 point from two games. I agree about having a sub-standard side, but Donadoni is rubbish and should never have got the job before Mancini or Ancelotti. His friendship with Demetrio Albertini is what got him the job.

I think Spalletti would be better than Ancelotti or Mancini.

Regardless of who the coach is or was I don't think that under the circumstances Italy could've done much better, certainly not away to France anyway!
