If this is true, then it wouldnt be green and white as Panathinaikos (PAO) is. PAO and PAOK are 2 different teams.

A couple of them are actually reasonable, must be imported. Are the 2 at the front pregnant?ALEPOU wrote:and of course the Adelaide PAOK Cheerleaders

Haven't we got enough clubs?
Not sure why the league keeps on accepting more...
In my opinion more clubs just meen less players to choose from which equals a weaker competition...

Re: Adelaide Club PAOK
Lots of struggling clubs out there without sponsorship, good facilities, etc. It'd be nice to see some clubs grow so we can strengthen the game at the grass roots level rather than just more new clubs who are "flash in the pans".

Spot on post. SAASL keep accepting these teams & then they fold as they have no junior/admin/supporter base to keep them afloat.nugget66 wrote:Haven't we got enough clubs?

With a weaker competiton comes weaker players & that has a domino effect on the whole game nationwide.

Re: Adelaide Club PAOK
the club is actually going to be string because most of the playerds will be ex-cambletown by the looks of things. so we will dominate all divs atleast up to top 3 anyway.
we use the double headed eagle because it is an ancient Roman/Greek logo. It was used by the Byzantine empire. Also the club is likely to have a string fan base because other clubs in adelaide will have fans which will also be attracted by AC Paok.
the colours are BLACK and WHITE like the logo ofcourse. we are offiliated to PAOK FC of Greece
www.paokfc.gr
we have a strong bond of MCP Melbourne club PAOK. brother clubs if you say so.but MCP do not have a sporst club they are a fan club only i think.
This club will be around in the next few years. It will nto be a slap dash club like some of you speak off. We will take time to build a strong foundation to the club and have cool looking kits and a nice home ground to play at and a nice function centre to have BBQ's and ceremonies of any style.
It is a club of Greek origin and may have some greek members and fans but it is very much an australian club. we expect this club to live long even without any greeks at the club.
any more questions?

Re: Adelaide Club PAOK
big call to say that you will dominate the first 3-4 years in the lower divs...
so already you have no respect for the competition or your opposition
if your going to make comments like that expect to get some back ...
my bet is you dont make it within 3 years your club will either run of to the saturday league or FFSA metro league( if up and running)

Where is the home ground going to be? Where will the function centre be? Are you planning to build it, or lease a building?

Re: Adelaide Club PAOK
My guess if they're gonna be introduced over the next few years with function centre backing, is an amateur side playing at the new Cobra's multi-purpose stadium. Due to be finished in 2011 with grandstands, 8 side pitches and a function centre catering for all matchday BBQ's and events.Aldo Serena wrote:Always good to dream and think big - good luck with it all.PAOK RE wrote:This club will be around in the next few years. the club will be ready in 4 years. This was planned,
i also respect the division and the competition. i came from that competition so i know there is skill. but some ex-nsl / ex super league players are a bit better than these small teams. not being mean just stating facts

why you call me stupid when your fucking dislecsic.
anyway we have kicked a ball and we have played a few friendlies. we alos have some skill but we need more players and we need a B div side.
we may play at Cobras centre since i have a few mates there. it sounds like a good location anyway i am moving abroad to live for the next few years so it will be ready when i get back.
and nugget can you shut the fuck up if you dont like what im saying. if you cant take the words get out of the forum.
The club is based in Klemzig at the moment. there are a few greeks in the area which are interested in starting this club.
ill post some kit designs later aswell. we are going to have cool kits. we want to make a nice club which will last for a long time and be known by everyone. unlike nuggets club.
