Well done Crazy, Sids, MJ
Well done boys on many great games in the Vista shirt. Some quality moments from all of you at times. MJ is the master of sarcasm towards refs, Crazy is the master of being sent off and getting away with not being sent off! and Sids is the master tackler.
It sucked watching your b team careers end like that yesterday. You all deserved to leave on winning notes but it just didn't feel right yesterday for some reason, maybe it was the early kick-off and offical refs........it didn't feel like a Vista B game.
Next year, I'll be doing all in my power to ensure you get your winners medals in the over 35 league.
See you on the golf course over summer!

Yeah defently, i look up to all 3 of you and have become good mates with you all. Crazy apart from supporting the blue shite you're a top bloke and for someone who i know wanted to knock my block off many a time i'm glad you worked out i'm just a harmless stupid boy. Sids, you also are a top bloke, said some very kind words to me after sundays game and it meant a great deal coming from you, someone i admire for the heart you show week in week out. MJ just wish i played along side you when we were both in form, never will forget my first few seasons watching your class from the bench, you are without a doubt the best stricker this clubs ever seen and up there with the best 3 or 4 players ever at the club. Good luck to you all in the future

was a pleasure guys, an absolute pleasure. To MJ, our partnership whilst playing up front together was dominant, the running presure we plassed on opposing defenses was something that was feared!!!!
Definition of Cheating &
Let us define cheating as any behavior outside the rules intended to give an unfair advantage
favoring one person or side over another

the only fear was that one day one of you might actually run.thankfully that never happened.sweet mate productions wrote:was a pleasure guys, an absolute pleasure. Thankyou Matty, I feel very honoured to have worn the Vista shirt, and to be given the Captaincy for all these years was something I'll never forget. Never the tallest man on the pitch, the Vista Blue and White made me feel 7 feet tall every time I crossed that white line thats probably why I always liked to lock horns with the biggest guy on the pitch. There are so many legends at Vista that I had the honour meeting and playing alongside, just too many to mention, just a few of them...Sids, made my job at left back a hell of a lot easier, O'Neill, not enough games together but still frightening in the tackle! MJ, I wish I'd moved out here earlier to see him before he discovered Farmers Union, Jimmy, what can I say, simply, the gaffer. Nutty, my first gaffer. Alan Griff, played a huge part in getting the seniors where they are today. So many more, but I'll finish with you Matty, you are now the next generation of "old boys" I feel very confident guys like you are taking the club forward, you are very much a true leader.
PRIDE HONOUR RESPECT
EVERTONIANS ARE BORN, NOT MANUFACTURED. WE DO NOT CHOOSE, WE ARE CHOSEN. THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND, NEED NO EXPLANATION. THOSE WHO DONT....DONT MATTER!
well said vista_bhoy...apart from bulldog, these three men have taught me alot about playing the sport and what it means to play for vista....crazy and sids it has been an honour to play with people as talented as you, you both always went hard for the ball and never shrugged making a tackle...thanks for all the encouragement and you will be missed from this vista b's side...MJ what can be said...i missed you as the master goalscorer but i saw you as the lazy sweeper....but seriously no-one really got the better of you this year and you always had a way to talk to refs...had the composure to do whatever you wanted this year mick and you usually did it....all 3 will be missed from the vista playing ranks
ps: and sids...thanks for the advice at Bosna, won't forget it

Thanks to all for the kind words.
From my first night at training with Vista when I came out from pommie land I knew I would see out my playing days there. Too many top blokes to mention but here are a few.
Jimmy - big respect for you mate. It has all been said before
Ali G - the time you and your family spend for the club is admirable. If it wasnt for the people off the ground the club would not exist..thanks
Nutty - probably wont read this but gave me a run in the A team from day one.
Pearson - Had a great year with you as my coach last year. Thanks for giving me a chance after my knee recon.
Andy H - Respect for you for being thrown into the deep end and leading the side to second position this year. Bloody difficult job at times.
MJ - what can I say. I wish I had your talent you lazy bastard. Seriously though..one of the best players I have played with when you are fired up.
Crazy - Top bloke on and off the field. Thougroughly enjoy watching you week in week out. Never say die attitude is a credit even when we are getting pumped
Vista Bhoy - Only played with you on a few occasions, but it was a pleasure. An attackers nightmare (watch out for those shins)
Carra23 - I haven't known you long mate but your motivational skills are second to none. Would have loved to play along side you in your 20s.
Matty Alt - I meant everything I said to you on Sunday mate. Top bloke - you and Simo are the new Old boys
Simo - You bastard - prevented me from getting Best and Fairest in the As when I got runner up....consistantly one of the top players at Vista.
Allen Bros - Andy is an outstanding, mature player for his years. Luke - bloody skillfull, top player.
DOC - Love to take the piss out of you...you give as good as you get. You will be one of the main B team players next year.
Little Tom - Class. Loads of attitude. love it. Will be a regular next year
Macca - Best and Fairest in Bs mate. Just slow down a little and you will be As all the way.
Mickey H - Your desire to win is second to none. you have a long Vista career ahead of you.
Sorry that this is long and sorry to those I have missed...too many to mention.
It's not quite the end of the journey for me as I will be out playing O-35s for Vista next year. C U all on Saturday
